OK this is just irritating... I notice my spinner was not getting fully charged even when plugged in overnight, but today, its just dead. Like the light is just blinking on and off but it won't cook my juice. .... This is bull, I've only had it for not even a whole month yet. It's like three weeks old. Is this normal?

K, help me out here... Check it for what?

It is possible that you tightened something down on the battery a bit too tight and pushed that little center pin in the connector into the battery. I have seen here on ECF people talking about gently pulling it out SLIGHTLY. Thing is I am not sure sure how that would work on something like the spinner since you can't exactly remove the batterys to make it safe to do like you can on a mod. Maybe use something non metallic to do the pulling?

I am really hoping someone chimes in with the correct and safe way to do this because to me it seems a bit risky.

I suspect the person who suggested checking the pin was thinking along the lines of a not so good connection. The difference between a solid connection and a partial connection.

I have not used your battery in particular so I really can't say. I was just trying to explain what the previous poster meant.

Wall plug. Why not overnight?

When I bought this thing, it didn't come with a manual, nor did she give me any specific instructions ie don't charge overnight, etc.

Where can I find such information? I would like to avoid wasting more money.

Thanks for the tips, sorry if I'm coming across harsh.. I'm pretty annoyed at this but I do appreciate your help.

Yes I've tried that... No go. :(

Pretty sure the battery is fried... But WHY? Is it me? Am I abusive, lol?

You fry batteries when you leave them on the charger overnight, this can become dangerous. Always charge batteries while you are awake and home, failure to do so could end badly. Also, allow batteries fresh off the charger to cool down before use.

One of my two original ego batteries died after 2 months of use. That's when I decided my money would be better spent on a long lasting mod. :)

It is not likely, but if the safety features of your battery and/or charger fail, you could have an exploding battery. It is very rare, but it has happened. It's not just pv batts either- laptops and cell phones both have the same type of batteries. This is why you should never leave batteries charging unattended.

Seriously? I have never ever heard that before in my life... my phone even? Wow.

The only person that I have ever heard tell a "dangerous battery" tale was the guy at the ecig store. He was carrying around extra bats for his mod, which touched the right ends and his keys... Burned a hole through his pants and scorched his leg.

Yes it can happen, yes it's rare that it does.
One other possibility that might help you, clean the connections with a q-tip and at least 90% alcohol. They will get dirty over time and it doesn't take much time for them to get dirty. Clean both the charger connection and your battery connection.

No need to yell, we get that you're frustrated even without all capital letters.

I had no idea that these things can be dangerous or rendered useless if left on charge for too long. I guess comparing to my other chargeable electronics, I GROSSLY overcharge and its never been an issue. I think I've only had my laptop OFF the charger a total of 5 times in three years. Man o man.

Learn something new everyday I suppose.
