OK this is just irritating... I notice my spinner was not getting fully charged even when plugged in overnight, but today, its just dead. Like the light is just blinking on and off but it won't cook my juice. .... This is bull, I've only had it for not even a whole month yet. It's like three weeks old. Is this normal?

Are you sure the battery is dead and not just shut off? If you push the button 5 times fast the Spinners can be turned on and off to prevent accidental firing in your pocket.

You may already know that, but it's best to check out the simplest solution that may have been overlooked.

I'm just saying... I just received all this advice warning of the dangers of misusing batteries. Then I voice my frustration at all of this gadgets and technology. Then it was suggested that the solution is to buy a device that is way more powerful and complicated than the one I was already using.. or misusing. So I don't understand how, if I cant even master the usage of a beginner's device, why would buying a way more advanced model solve any of those problems? It's like sayin, grrr I can't ride a bike so here take this airplane instead. But then I get accused of being melodramatic. Which I didn't realize batteries were so dangerous until I was told here. I meant no offense to anyone and I'm sorry if anyone feels that way. I do appreciate the help and I'm learning a lot.

And frankly, if these devices are so touchy that they're going to die, or explode, or whatever because I charged it a little too long?

All devices with rechargeable batteries can be dangerous during charging.

Idk... That seems like some hardcore apparatus right there... its intimidating to look at... I'm sure it works amazingly, but idk if I'm there yet. If I get it, I'm like married to it. And how good do marriages work without physical attraction? I might need to sow my wild oats on some more egos before I can make that kind of commitment LOL.

Hey Sharon,

I suggest you get some more eGos "wild oats". You can't have enough backups anyway.

My daily rig is a 450 mAh mini and an EVOD and it just rocks (for me). Plus, the 450 recharges faster than I can vape away on the 'other' 450, so I alsways have powah (plus the six other batteries I have sitting around fully charged). Backups are your friend, even when one dies forever.

YMMV

The reason is because the ProVari is a regulated device with redundant safety features. If a battery goes bad, buy a new one for $8.99ish.

The probability of a battery exploding is very, very, very low. Don't charge overnight or when you leave the house. It's really that simple.

Not to mention Provape has great customer service and the ProVari has an awesome warranty.

If you are interested in a device that uses replaceable batteries, there are other less expensive options available to you as well. It's also perfectly fine to stick with the eGo type batteries; a lot of folks do and have no interest in variable voltage and/or variable wattage. It's easy to get frustrated at first due to the learning curve but don't despair, you'll get there. Proceed at your own pace and with whatever device you feel most comfortable with. IMHO ...

THIS!

I have an eVic, and I usually prefer an eGo for 'hand feel'.

OK, get your brains out of the gutter ;)

Wow, sorry to hear of your troubles, SharonMM. I have a spinner myself and was wondering if it could be your eliquid delivery device/carto/tank/clearomizer, whatever you happen to be using on your spinner to cook the juice that has malfunctioned or is not working? (I can't remember if that was brought up in this thread or not, disregard if it was)

Has anyone ever told you that you look like "Nicole Walker", a character from Days of Our Lives? Very pretty avi you have! :)

Nope thats a first. Thanks for the compliment :)

Since I started the thread this morning, I have cleaned the nova tank, the battery itself, and the charger with alcohol. There was not much gunk on any of it. I have tried plugin the USB end of my charger into multiple different wall chargers and my pc. I have tried using the charger for my cigalikes but it does not fit. Everthing has yielded the same result. The green light on the charger is constant green, and the battery light comes on and slow blinks every couple seconds.

I don't know what I did wrong aside from leave it charge overnight. I ordered two more of these already so I'd like to know if I can avoid this problem with my new ones. Maybe I'd be better off just sending them back when they get here.

You're welcome! Sorry I was no help lol. I've heard great things about spinners and I love mine, maybe give your new ones a try with your new battery charging knowledge. I charge mine through my laptop while I'm close by and take it off once it's charged. I have had no problems so far in the two months I've had it, bUT sure would ask the vendor if I did.. Good luck.
