Battery has scratch on it. is it safe to use?

Topic explains it, there is a very small scratch on my Sony 18650 battery. Nothing too deep, but i can still kinda feel it when I run a finger across it. I think it was scratched by my old mech clones threading. I really don't want to buy another battery. Is it safe?

If you're really worried about it pick up some 22mm shrink wrap and re-wrap your battery. Takes 2 seconds and costs a dollar. fasttech has the shrink wrap you need for 18*** batteries.

Electrical tape in the meantime if you're concerned.
