Battery issues with the Ego VW

Just got in an Ego VW and it works with my old batteries but the new Trustfire batteries cause it to shut off. Put the battery in and it will come up and display the voltage on the battery and normal stuff but when I hit the button the APV shuts down like the battery was dead. Is it something in the battery? These batteries work in my Provari and the others I have work in the Ego VW!

I've never heard of an Ego VW so I googled it and got nothing. It's been suggested that what you have is a Vamo. If it is, the Vamo uses IMR batteries. Trustfires are not IMR they are protected batteries. You may be hitting the current limit of the protected battery's protection circuit thus shutting down.

You didn't say what your old batteries were but if they were trustfires and they worked in your mod but the new ones don't then I would contact the vendor. They may be bad batteries.
