I pretty much think I don't have to worry about you getting hurt by an unexpected occurrence in the event it should happen. Because we all know sheet happens and you must be prepared when testing limits.
Thanks for all you do, Mooch. It will be nice to find out how you present project turns out.
I have lots of singles that could be matched for doubles and triples, but like everyone else I don't want anything blowing up in my pants pocket (or even dribbling a little electrolyte)!

What does that have to do with Mooch and his safety precautions when he is testing?
Based on Mooch's test results we'll know more about runaway battery conditions and whether or not we should use unmatched sets. I won't use them in unmatched pairs if Mooch finds them unsafe.
You can't ever be prepared for a battery runaway in your pocket.
I wonder why you are quoting me when all I did was comment I do not need to worry about Mooch because I am sure he does the testing safely.

While your concern is appreciated my comment was for Mooch and in no way was I mentioning anything about what I plan to do or am presently doing.

I am not agitated buddy it just makes me shake my head so often when someone says I quoted them but I didn't??? Or when someone answers for someone else like they know what it is they want as a reply...... What are they vaping comes to mind!
You can't even vape in your own style, you've gotta build cos it "makes better clouds" I don't care about clouds, I care about the flavour and I'm sick of building being every topic!

Using a 2 battery mod I will pair just because. But I have some batteries for other things and it would be interesting if I could match used batteries together or even if pairing batteries is an actual thing. I have batteries I use in flashlights and other things and I actually could use in my mods if needed if pairing was not an issue.

I can't wait to find out if it's safe. I'm no mooch but I've been tested unmarried pairs too. I have 4 lg hg2's that I ran in a single mod for about 10 months and now I married them and use them in a dual 18650 mod for about 5 months and have had no problems. I'm interesting in mooches results because as the batteries get older I'm getting a little concerned and thinking of buying 4 new ones and marry them the right way. Hopefully I get results before some thermal runaway.
I'll probably continue to marry them bc why not, but it will be good to know if I have a bunch of dead pairs at once
I have batteries married in 2's and 3's, and a bunch of singles. It would be nice to be able to pick from a large lot instead of married sets and unmarried sets, but it's not a big deal. I mostly use one mad at a time.
