Battery power/Throat hit/Flavor..question

Hello everyone ....i think most of us are looking for that "perfect" throat hit ....i understand that increased power gives more vapor and a better throat hit...
my question is ...
The increase in power, does it reduce flavor?

I have found that the increase in power brings out the flavor. With different juice you can adjust the heat by doing 2 second hits or 3 second hits (pulsing the button) and get the best flavor. But hold to long and you get a burnt taste. With low volts you have no control, what you get is what you get.

I think higher power causes the vapor to feel warmer, and helps bring out the flavor of the juice better. To me it's more like regular smoking.

I just bought my first e-cig, a DSE901 and I seem to be having trouble getting a good throat hit. It seems like only every once in awhile I'll get a really good hit, every other time it's extremely weak and hardly any vapor will form. I've charged the batteries, exchanged carts, and have been holding it at the right angel.

I asked the guy a bought from why this was happening and it said it be because I am breathing in through my nose too when I inhale. I've tried not too and even pinched my nose closed when inhaling and I still seem to get the same results... I'm heavy smoker and I am wondering if maybe I just used the carts up? I've had it for only one day and I've got three carts...

Which e-cig has higher power?

bluebunneh: The inconsistency is pretty much with most e-cigs, I've found. Most say to get consistency, you need a battery modded e-cig which means one that looks nothing like an analog. I have a 510 and it's the same way. Some hits are bliss, others piss me the @#$^ off.

I've never tried a high voltage battery mod but there are some that say the higher voltage causes you to have less flavor but more vapor and throat-hit. Some say it's better. Who knows. You can possibly hurt your atomizers using high voltage though. Yet, again, some say they burn through them in 2 days, others, 2 months. There are some that are not high voltage but give better consistency. The most popular are:

Screwdriver (SD) - Most popular. Consistency is its specialty most say. Normal voltage.
Prodigy - This is a new product. I believe you can use either normal or high voltage depending on which type of batteries you put in it.
Janty Stick - New product as well. Some say its pretty good for a commercial battery mod. I have one on order. Hasn't come yet. We shall see Not high voltage as far as I know.
GG - Don't know much about this one but you could look it up on the forums.
The Magnum - This is a DIY mod. High voltage.
