I switched to 2X700s a couple months ago and no regrets.

Better capacity and output, and it's at the point where they are mainstream now with adapters for smaller batteries to fit.

I don't see why I wouldn't use a 2X700.

This is especially true on the unregulated side, like with a lot of the squonkers. Want to do dual coil on a single battery mod? Get yourself a 2X700.

Even if the capacity of the Vapcell purple 5900mAh 20A 26650 is overrated by 5%, it's still a whopping 800mAh more than the highest capacity 2X700s that are only 10A.

Wound up buying some aspire 4300s on the grounds that they were the only batteries on moochs list I could actually find.

I bought my Hohm Grown 26650's from IMRBatteries.com. So far I'm happy with them. I really expected 26650 to provide lots more usable charge life than 18650's, though. I get about 20% more vape time in the same mod than I did with the 18650 sleeve adapter in the Geek Vape Aegis 100W vaping at 10W. They may be better after multiple charge/discharge cycles. They've only been charged 2-3 times each.

I'd buy them again, but I'm also interested in the competitors' stats. Right now, Mooch's testing shows them all to be similar in performance.

Nope. That’s about the improvement I saw too with my old battery set. There’s a reason 26650s aren’t that popular I think.

The reason why you're not getting that much extra vaping time is actually quite simple. At only 10W the current draw will be so low (like, less than 5 amps) that the Panasonic/Sanyo NCR18650GA, which is a 10A 3300mAh cell, will give you a bit more vaping time than any of the three popular 3000mAh 18650 choices (Sony VTC6, Samsung 30Q, LG HG2), but the Vapcell purple 5900mAh 20A 26650 has about 70% more mAh so if the HohmGrown is only giving you 20% more vaping time, then you shouldn't be blaming 26650s for the fact the HohmGrown is the one that obviously sucks.
