Battery question

Hi All

I had 2 Dura-C batteries fully charged. I put them into the camera case that im using to carry my gear around in and went to use them the next day and both were dead! I re charged them and they were fine.

I was wondering if the material of the case shorted the batteries somehow. According to the label the lining is 80% ployester and 20% nylon.

I was also wondering if because of the leaking from the dura carts that maybe it had become a bit damp and shorted the batteries.

Anyone else suffered this?

The batteries should be able to hold most of their charge for at least several days.

With the manual switch batteries, the batteries are sealed, so even if you have liquid leaking, it shouldn't affect your manual batteries' performance.

So I'm stumped.

Hmm well after charging they both last a normal amount of time. I will charge them again and leave them overnight out of the case and see if they hold their charges

From The Info You Provided on Your Dura-C Manual Batts I Would Say:

No Your Case Did Not Short Out The Batts.

The Dead Batts Sounds More Like Defect Batt Issues. You can search the history for Dura-C Batts Issues.
