Battery Question

Hi,

Just have a quick questuin about pairing batterys.

I have just ordered a new mod from fasttech, its a vapor flask clone with temp control. It runs 2 18650's in parallel.

I know its reccomended to use paired batteries in mod that run more than 1 battery but i have 2 efest 2500mah 35a batterys (i know they are probably rewrapped LG's) that i use in my single battery mod.
I've had them for about 3 months and always rotate their use in my mod so thy should have aged about the same.

Do you think it would be ok to use these together in my new mod?

I wouldn't, but that's just me. I'm sure others will be by shortly to give their opinion.

Nah, even if you charged the two separate batteries the SAME exact number of charge cycles, there's no telling what the nominal voltage got to before you charged them -- and that would mean variances in the overall battery sag.

I wouldn't recommend using any un-married batteries in a dual 18650 mod. Stay on the side of caution and get a new pair specifically for your box -- that's what I did/do. Keep the Efests for the mech mods.

Thanks for the replys. I think I'll play it safe and buy some new sony vtc4's or samsung 25r's.
