Hmm Ive waited till the last minute because I figured every vape shop would have these. Im takkng off for vegas sunday and ive read that litium batteries must be in a short proof case and brought with your carry on items. Turns out no vape shop in town, radioshack, best buy or batteries plus sell them. My 18650 fits perfectly in a plastic pill bottle. Any suggestions on where to look or do you think the pill bottle would be ok?

I'm assuming that any plastic case would work. To me, "short proof" just basically means semi-locking container so no metal could touch the ends of the battery to discharge it until it explodes.

Don't take my word for it, and I also would not use a pill bottle as that just looks sketchy, but a small plastic container should be ok.

Thanks for the suggestions. In my checked baggage i have a small drill bit case, small spool of 28g kanthal, bag of cotton balls, wire cutters and tweezer. Also in there in a box with 4 bubble wrapped bottles of unopened ejuice. I put them all in a bag and put a note in there descibing their nature and placed them on the upper layer of my bag so if they want to check it out they wont have to destroy all my other packe items. In my carry on ive got provari with no battery in it, battery charger, empty taifun and 2 pill bottles with an 18650 in each (all i have). Anyone think im going to have an issue?

Your batteries will be fine in a pill bottle.

As far as as your plans for your other stuff you will be just fine there too. The TSA is used to seeing our vaping supplies now. They may take a second look just to be sure they are what they think they are but that only takes a few extra seconds, no big deal. Enjoy your trip :)
