Fuzzy is having BIG problems.

Purchased 3 Kits from ebay 2 different sellers.

1st seller 1 kit
Fuzzy thought battery was dud so returned for a replacement.
They seller sent the same battery back (clever fuzzy marked it ;)) .
When seller asked why original battery returned, seller said no fault must be charger.
Fuzzy returned charger and it was replaced.

2nd seller
1 kit same problem when ASQ told best to buy more :-x
At this point fuzzy in desperation had already ordered another kit from them , presume they knew and if poss did not want a return.

Fuzzy now has 6 batteries and 4 atomisers.
+ 2 standard chargers and 1 usb charger.

Atomisers are going red hot when screwed in to any battery, battery is also getting hot.

May get to vape for first couple of puffs and atomisers and battery all red hot.

Fuzzy and I are both new to this and totally lost.

HELP PLEASE.

Hey Keef!

Same thing happened to a member here by the name of MommyShamm, and it was actually my own mini that had this happen!

What happened was, 1 atomizer, destroyed 3 batteries, plain and simple (all within minutes). We're not 100% sure why this happened, but we are guessing, that the 1 faulty atomizer shorted/fried something on the battery end to either shut the switch down completely or keep it stuck on.

2 batteries were working perfect before they touched the atomizer. Once they did, they were done.

So, I'm guessing, 1 of the atomizers is to blame for the issue. Once 1 started, the rest were a simple chain reaction because you want to test with other batteries. The chances of you having 6 batteries and 4 atomizers that are junk are VERY VERY HIGHLY UNLIKELY (although anything is possible)

So, my guess is there is no hope for the current batch you have. I would suggest contacting both sellers, discuss the situation with them, and see if you can get replacement for the batteries AND atomizers.

I went to simon e-cigs exactly for that reason.

He did not lie about carts v cigs smoked a day.

30 day warentee.

Had very good feedback here .

Nice website easy on the eye and easy to navigate.

OK 1 st kit I purchased £30 and second £35 while I could have got cheaper on ebay I did not feel confident with any of the sellers I looked at.

Or to be honest any of the other websites.

Not long since I started this e-cig thing, he replies to mails quickly and has super quick service with free shipping.

Also pays for return of faulty bits, in huge envelopes which must be costing him a fortune..

I prefer quality and good service to bargains , and with simon I seem to be getting it :thumb:

Also I love his Roast Smoke sooner it is back in stock the better :thumb:

There's nothing new or different about these batteries you guys have...I bought a 901 over a month ago and one of the 2 batteries I got did the same thing, would light up and power on even when not screwed onto the atomizer. Usually a quick movement of the battery in my hand would always make it light up.

I contacted the seller and he told me before exchanging them to try sticking a straightened-out paperclip in the atomizer-end of the battery and carefully push around in there to try and straighten out the pressure switch which is activating wrongfully. I did this once, tested the battery again by moving it around and it definitely lit up less often but still did it. I tried the paperclip again and moved it around inside a few more seconds...

Ever since then, it's never done it again, over a month later :) Try it.

Thanks for the tip. Just tried it with a pen style battery I have with the exact same issue as you had. I'm cautiously optimistic it has fixed it - so far so good :D Will now try it on a DSE901 battery with the same problem and a sticky RN4081 battery. Thats three batteries out of eight I own that are problematic - seems to be a very common issue if my experience is anything to go by.

You're welcome. What happened to me is that immediately I noticed that it started lighting up on its own wayyy less frequently, BUT it still happened here and there within a few minutes, so I tinkered in there again with a paperclip one or two more times, and ever since, no problems! So you might have to mess around more than once, but it should work for good sooner or later. Just be careful in the battery.

are you guy's sure it's the battery? I just got my DSE901 and have been using my two batteries with my original atomizer with no issues. Last night I decided to hook up the extra atomizer I bought from Steve as the one I was using seemed to be ready for some cleaning. Ever since I Hooked it up no matter which battery I plugged in they would light up on there own and act weird. They will not light up and the atomizer will heat up, or they will just light up on their own. They will also do the flashing light thing like they are cleaning. When I use my batteries with the original atomizer they work just fine.

I ordered my DSE901 from Steve at puresmoker.com and I have to say first off what a great retailer Steve is. I am overly satisfied with his prompt service and product and I am totally in love with the e-cig. Haven't smoked an analogue since Saturday and don't miss them. Steve you are awesome!!

I think this issue may be with the atomizer and not the battery, but that is my thought and I am a noob to!

For batteries that are "stuck" off and won't light up at all because juice got in them...

Try suckin air in from the end of the battery where the switch is, really hard a few times. That might free it up.

A more drastic measure if that doesn't work, would be to place the battery over steam (LED side up) for a couple minutes and then repeat the above step.

Keep trying this procedure and pray that it finally unstickifies :thumb:
