Ok, starting to get clearer. I'm looking at the eleaf gs-air at the moment, being much cheaper than the nautilus mini, and after these experiences with aspire, i'm sensing a bit hyperbole. But there's a chance i might be even more disappointed with the eleaf, but at least it's cheap enough, provided shipping fee will be reasonable.
Yea, vapor production is what i'm looking for, the eleaf will be significantly better than the ce5-s i hope? cause the ce5-s had great reviews for some reason.
Well, you know my feelings. The CE5 is an outdated piece of hardware, as is your battery.
What we could with is completely erasing all these not very helpful old reviews from the internet, but we can't do that.
There is more than 1 tank in the GS Air range. I own them all (yes, that's not hyperbole) and t.b.h. the <4.0ml "M" tank is the best. The original is smaller tank designed to look good on slim batteries. The plainly named "GS Tank" (no air or "M" or anything else) is a 22mm tank originally to go on the iSticks. It vapes the same as the others but collects liquid in the drip-tip well much faster than the others. It's an error on the part of Eleaf.... as even I can tell why this happens, but they are not looking that far down the road.
Today (and I know I mix and match) I am using the "M" tank on the Pico. In my other pocket (not literally) is an EVIC mini VTC with a Tron S tank.
These are low-low/middle power rigs
because of the tank, not the mod. When I get bored and shut down my work computer for the day, I'll up my vaping to perhaps even 30-50w.
So;
Reviews.... most reviews are not to be trusted anyway as there is much fakery in the e-cig world.
Just look at the reviews for Vaporfi, Apollo and Halo and then go search for a bucket.
Many genuine reviews are posted by people moving from very poor kit (maybe even a tobacco company scam/rip-off product) to something most of us might consider bottom of the ladder.
In general, any review of a
clearomizer/tank older than 2 years is probably not worth taking any notice of. Now, you might think "yes... but surely something good then is still good now?..." Maybe, but are you going to use it on a battery from 2013 that offers a maximum of 11 watts? No.
For example,
An iClear 30S is a classic clearomizer on an 11w mod vaped at 8-10w.
A mini Protank II is a great little glass tank on an eGo battery at 7 watts.
However, if you should see one for sale, it will either be in the clearance sale or some greedy business will want $40 for a $4 tank.
(I'll go away... I'm getting really boring now... zzz)
