batty connector differences???

So I have built so many mods with the brass sealed connector. I can solder them fine, sometimes a pain but fine. So I decided to use the nickel fittings cause I liked the look better, but It seems that the airflow notches are huge and, when dripping ( 3-4 drops ) I get some leakage. I have then on 3 mods and same results on all. I tried using just the 3 drips and still leak, no matter what attys or voltage. I am sure I can file them down, just wondering if its just me?

Who knows how many different manufacturers make these things. Did you get them all from the same retailer?

I doubt that you can file them down. There should be a very small gap around the collar, the center connector usually sets the final position. Filing the collar will just make them more airy.

I got them all from madvapes and the notches are huge, especially compared to the brass ones that I get from them. I dunno.

If it's a PITA to change out the connector, an easy fix is to fill in the slots with solder and then recut them to the diameter you like. Piece of cake.....
