BB - CR2's?

So I just bought a BB, finally, can the new ones still fit protected CR2's?

Although it is not recomended to stack batteries, yes the do fit in the newer BB's. Any BB manufacted post Feb 10 will acomodate them

Do they make any CR2 batteries to lessen the risk of blowing my face up? I mean normally I will be using IMR AW 14500 in it, but I miss the 6v blast from back when I first started vaping.

but with all of the LR atties out there I'm wondering if they make a HD 14500, or something that'll fit the BB for high drain 3.7v pleasure. I haven't been keeping up with the forums as much as I once had lately & imagine the answer's just under my fingertips.

protected cr2's are what's recommended for if your looking for 6v in the BB. Or as I had mentioned, using a LR atty will produce similar effects using a 3.7v batt. They key is to use protected batteries. At least that's what I always thought

I use high drain 14500 batteries currently with a LR801, soon to be LR306 Light Hound sells them

I thought so & had forgotten their website. That's what I was hoping someone would chime in with. Thank you so much. I just ordered a couple & a lil' bit ago ordered Cysco's new 306's. I haven't used my BB in too long & I think that combo is just what I need to bring it back in full force.

You will have to use 3 ohm attys or greater with the cr2's. It triggers the protection circut on the batts if you don't. I couldn't figure out why my bb didn't work with the cr2's until I used higher resistance atty.

Exactly. I used the protected CR2for a long time with my BB (green, no brand name, just a line that says "LC 15266 1000mAh 3.0V" -- some don't have the LC on them). 2.9ohm was the cutoff. You have a hotspring so you're going to be looking for at least 3.0ohm stuff. Tough to find. All the good stuff clocks in at about 3.0ohms with a 0.1 or 0.2 variance. You end up with about half over and half under. I use the BB at work and shopping and stuff. SB for home and golf and stuff. The larger CR123A's aren't sensitive until you get a lot lower than what you'd want to vape anyway.

I actually threw two CR2's in my BB, and put on a Yeti Cartomizer from altsmoke. Everything seems to be working fine as of now. I will look into finding a meter to test the ohm's
