Which protected CR2 batteries do you recommend for the new BB unit? I want to make sure these batteries work with a 510 atty.

Thanks!

I don't think there are any yet that will work with the Joye 510 (2.2-2.3ohm) atomizers. That current draw trips the protection circuit. What we're waiting on is for someone to come out with a high discharge rate CR2 -- the protection circuit would be set higher at the higher discharge rate. The point is, with unprotected CR2s you're exceeding the max discharge rate. Probably not a problem with "pulse" usage but there are those inconvenient events like an inadvertent prolonged button press or a battery that shorts against the barrel due to a nick in the casing, etc.

electronicstix 1000mah protected cr2s work with 510 attys with the washer, vaping it now

Yes but... that's not a Joye 510 which is what a LOT of places sell (like AltSmoke for example :)) and which a number of people seem to think are better quality. That would be a SBE(?) 510 that's made with a washer. The ones with a washer generally measure a couple of tenths more ohms resistance which may explain why they're working for you.

Let's talk about those batteries. I just got mine.
They're green.
They don't say "UltraFire" anywhere on them.
They don't say "Protected" anywhere on them.
They DO have that telltale indentation towards the positive end cap.
All they have printed on them is "LC 15266 1000mAh 3.0V"

They came shrink wrapped in two's.
3 of 4 measured exactly 3.365v out of the shrink wrap.
The 4th one was disconnected?? put it on the charger and it took 2 hours for the charger to go green.
It came off the charger at 3.551v and after sitting for a while it measures 3.428

The charger is labeled:
Output: 2x3.7V - 300mA +/- 50mA
60mA at 1.5 hrs (standard Charge)
300mA at 2.4 hrs (Quick Charge)

Charger output is 4.02v (measured)

...I think I'm happy but I'm not sure... doesn't inspire extreme confidence.

I think it would be cool if they offered a machined sleeve for the BB so you could fit some longer batts in it x 2, this could be easily made I would think. anyone have some thoughts on that, I would also really like to see one for my 2 SB's so I could put
2 x 18650's in my SB's imagine how long we could all vape for without a Batt change if we had 2 x 18650 3000 mAh batts in there, just a simple female end on one end and a male end on the other to extend out units kind of like an extended cup for for the SB & BB this would really be great I think, your thoughts please ?? it would be sold as an option of course.!! How about it Chad & Rob ????
