The New BB's

Sorry if this was already posted elsewhere, but when will the new BB's that will take protected CR2's be available to purchase?

From what I am told the exact opposite is true. They are machining the new ones NOT to accept and CR2 batteries as they don't support their use. Big bummer as I was going to buy a second one.

What a bizarre idea. I just assumed it had something to do with product liability issues.

Right now they're making the BB to not take CR2 batt, when the protected version of the CR2 batt are broadly available, then they're going to begin machining the BB to also accept that batt. Until then...
