I got my Chuck a little over a week ago and I LOVE it!
I can go on forever about how much better it is than any power source I've ever used for vaping, how much better the vaping experience is with it and on and on and on and on.
Now when I say be careful, I mean in regards to travelling with it in a pocket, a bag, purse, etc.
So here's what happened to me,
I live in Brooklyn and ride to my office in Manhattan: Total ride time 30 mins.
Yesterday before I mounted up for my ride home, I took a few glorious pulls on my Chuck and then placed it in the single zipper, quick access pocket of my backpack and headed home.
Upon arriving home, I carry my bike up a flight of stairs, take my bag off, wipe my brow, take a sip of water and then reach for my Chuck.
As soon as I opened the zipper I knew there was a problem. The blue gray wisp of smoke that wafted out was the first sign.
But nothing was on fire, the smoke cleared and my Chuck looked OK so I reached in and tried to take it out. and there was some resistance as I tried to. I peeled it out, and soon as I saw my freshly filled cartomizer I knew we had a problem.
I guess somehow in my backpack the "power" button on my Chuck got pushed and cooked the cartomizer for a while, melting to the lining of the pocket in my backpack.
It also killed a fresh set of batteries.
But all is well. I slapped a new set of batteries in and a new adapter and cartomizer and I'm back in business.
Ill be sure to remove the batteries when my Chuck gets tucked in for travel
Be careful!
