I have some plastic bottles that are so stiff, it's hard to squeeze the liquid out. And others that are so soft, it's amazing they don't break or dissolve.

But I have these 7ml plastic bottles with a straight part near the top that traps the last bit of juice, and no amount of shaking, twirling or cussing can get it out. An eyedropper won't fit into the neck, and I want my last couple of drops!!!

Hahaha! That is funny, but so real! I have some of those tyoes of bottles that trao the last bit of eliquid in it, and I will set there for 10 minutes sometimes turning the bottle upside down letting the liquid run to the bottom... tilting it ever so slightly...squeezing the bottle distorting the bottle....cussing and yelling at it...lol Back before I started to diy when I bought all of my eliquid from vendors I would get even angrier when the bottle held the last of the eliquid hostage!

I may not have time to do my order until the next morning then. I've got a number of things I want, and it always takes me a while to choose them!
I am glad someone else takes a while when vape shopping :) Every time i vape shop my boyfriend is always asking "your still have not checked out?" :) I could have just $5 and still take me 20 minutes to decide :)

The bottles are from Halo. And their juices are really tasty, and not inexpensive. I considered taking an utility knife and slicing the bottle in half. Then thought against it, considering how deep the knife could cut into my fingers.

I thought about heating a small nail and melting a hole. What I need is a syringe with a long blunt needle.

And I need to not be so OCD about 5 drops of juice...

:)

Right?

I once took so long deciding what I wanted during a huge sale, by the time I hit "Check out", the sale had ended... :(

This is embarrassing but...one time I did take a knife and cut the bottle in half just to get the last drops....lol My boyfriend was like "Please tell me you are seriously not risking cutting your fingers off just to get that tiny amount!" [emoji5]

I thought I read that the earlier iSticks used mean and they changed that to PWM on later ones, but maybe I read it about a different device, and just am remembering wrong. Does anyone know?

Any and all mods that provide voltages higher than the nominal 3.7 volts that our batteries provide are using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), some will put a filter on the output to flatten the results to more closely resemble a flat DC signal. The filtering is accomplished with a choke and capacitor setup to whatever frequency the PWM circuit uses. Some people have reported a lag in power or a spike when the fire button is pushed. This is likely due to the time it takes for the capacitor in the circuit to reach full charge (lag), or the choke not limiting the charge quick enough (spike).

The difference in voltage measured in Mean or in RMS is the same difference as Fahrenheit and Centigrade...measures temperatures, both come up with different numbers, but it doesn't change how many sweaters you need to wear to go outside, simply descriptive, sometimes confusing.

The iStick does provide step down, to 3.0 volts but it's measured in Mean. You may go out dressed the same at 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 0 degrees Centigrade....but if your planning on 0 degrees Centigrade, and it's actually 0 degrees Fahrenheit, you might be a bit frozen. OR 100 degrees F, verses 100 degrees C (only in AZ...:2cool:)

Vaping has become accustomed to measuring everything in RMS, for whatever reason....the volts don't know what you're calling them....I promise. The VV-Gripper came out as a cheap, lightweight, small mod a couple years ago. It made the mistake of using Mean voltage, and was thoroughly panned. You could only vape at 3.5 volts on them when all your friends were vaping at 4.0 volts on their mods, OH...the horrors. I bought a couple of them and adjusted to whatever tasted good....still have one I use to this day, great little mod.

Class dismissed....Weekly Quiz will be given on Friday morning.....

Thank you guys, this last 3 days has been a nightmare of a sorts I hope to not have to go through again.

My husband has been a part time vaper now for about a year, and now will have to become a full time vaper, so gonna try to get him an istick and a better tank than he has. As right now he has an ego twist and a protank mini I got him last year.

many dont know what RMS means or stands for Root Mean Squared. I used to work for a ground pounder amplifier company many years ago (Orion) I was a bench tech, we measured output power in RMS as it was a more true power.

I remember going to audio stores and park-n-swap and see these little boxes that said power amplifier, one look at the wires and the little 2A fuse would make me laugh as the thing said 200 watt power amplifier.
I would poke around w/the sales guy asking him about performance of this bad a s s device and boy would they sell it, then I would ask them how they got 200 watts from a 12 vdc system with a 2 amp inline fuse w/o blowing it

we used step up dc to dc converters and a minimum 20A inline fuse, I used to bend those fuses quit often and every few weeks blow one.

Yea - I heard about some other New Supplier/Vendors who had the same thing happen . . . :)
As - For the "Sin Bin" it's what happens before "You" get Banned from ECF - like a "Time Out" . . . ;)
AND - There is no reason to ask how I know . . .

Vaping and sitting here with my pup chewing his bone right next to me :) He is so adorable; at night time when he goes out, before he goes off of the porch he sniffs the air and looks around a bunch. Sometimes he will not go off the porch, and I have to go off the porch with him. I think it is cute that sometimes he gets afraid in the dark and someone has to go out with him :)
