That was great, Bruce! I have a couple suggestions, though:

1) You need a visit from your pet ...
2) ... better yet, have your pet make a loud, distracting noise such as barking or (if a cat), coughing up a hairball
3) Someone should call you on the phone in the middle...
4) ... or have your computer notify you that you have new email every minute or two
5) You need some distracting background music that's maddeningly too soft to hear clearly but loud enough that it distracts the viewer...
6) ... or have a TV on behind the camera that proves to be a distraction to you, the host.
7) Include a loud obnoxious intro scene that is at least twice the volume of the rest of your video
8) Include some sort of distracting visual in the background. It can be a poster of an annoying starlet or a computer monitor showing random pictures of zebras grazing in Africa
9) Initiate and repeatedly say an annoying catchphrase

If you were to include any or all of these in your video, I can guarantee that you will gather more views (or not!) :D

#8, is a good one. I did see a youtube vid early last year that had the young man's Mom slowly walk behind him, not even knowing what was going on in her underwear. He must have been late 20s and she had to be in her 40s. She leaned over to kiss his head, I guess and he freaked out so much that his dad came out in his underwear. Gosh, I laffed so hard. Poor guy was doing a video game review.
My brother does games and he saw this and told me to check it out. Lucky I did cause the vid was pulled later that day.

it had tons of views when I saw it. I figure his Mom and Dad may have become funny GIFs later or something.... Now these were your normal, not super fit or sexy underwear or bodies. Not bad but not the types young guys or women dream of. At least not when I was young and had fantasies. :2cool:

Hey Bruce if i win the "another istick 20w", I want one that says another on it.

That would be so cool.

Talk about a chick magnet, boy my chickens would be all over it, if I put it down by them.

Most likely even if it did not say "another", they would like it and try to peak it..........

So yes something to make people want to forward it to others .

I do too, as long as weather isnt a factor it should be.
the guys at the post office this morning were talking about delays due to weather. they told a lady that was sending stuff up north in the state 150 miles would not get there until Wednesday or Thursday IMO thats just crazy.
I sent a package to your state for another customer today that I expected to be there Wednesday at the latest and the postal slip said Thursday

I got him...I got him....photos to come....Thank you for the Mini Aerotank...I will give it a try now & see how it is...the airflow feels nice, but I have to dig out an adapter as they won't go on my modbox without it....

Time for something besides bad vape shops and you tube videos.....

4. What is your funniest or most interesting vape related story

What not to do....
I was sitting happy refilling some carts, 3mL sample bottles for travel, and had 10mL bottles of 30mg open with the drip tips off. I was carefully screwing on all the child-proof top to keep from spilling.

My mistake, dripping at the same time as filling, , took a 10mL bottle unscrewed the top and without the drip tip on the bottle dumped it into my atty, and on my hands, down my forearms.......

My first thought was "how am I going to get it back in the bottle!"
It then dawned on me to wash it off, (slow learner), upside was I didn't crave an analog or vaping for a couple hours..... but no other ill effects....:2cool:

I getting ready to go find cactus hangout thread :) and I am going to subscribe to it! Earlier when you guys were talking about why more people are not here I started thinking, amd thought maybe it is because; if others are alot like me, I get stuck in a loop of my regular threads that I visit and do not look around like I should. :)

That's the way i am,usually don't really go outside the threads that i'm a regualr in,so i never see 99% of the new threads that pop up,but i like your idea,so i will follow suit on that one. There is a great group of people in this thread,so i could see myself hanging out a bit in that thread too.

I have not yet tried any of the sub-ohm tanks, so I cannot speak from personal experience. However, I would like to point out that the Kanger SubTank does have two types of pre-made heads (0.5 ohms for "sub-ohm" and 1.2 ohms for non-sub-ohm) and two of the versions come with an RBA deck to build any resistance coil, should you so desire. I don't know which of the other sub-ohm tanks have heads that are non-sub-ohm (although, I believe, the Delta II tank has a RBA section that can be purchased separately).

That said, the tanks I use are mostly Aerotanks, simply because I made a large investment, early on, in Kanger coils and they all work in all of my tanks. I hear the Nautilus has good flavor, and the Nautilus Mini has even better flavor, but I have never tried either. There used to be (maybe still are?) huge arguments as to which is superior--Aspire or Kanger--but I think the best tank is what keeps you away from cigarettes. If you're happy with what you have, stay with that.

That is good to know about the kanger tanks and the coils. No one ever mentioned that before but I will keep it in mind. So are you saying because I have coils for the pro tank 2 that I could get an aero tank or pro tank 3 and use the same coils. What about double vs single coils or doesn't it matter which ones you buy? This is all stuff that I am learning as I go. I know how to vape but not all the ins and outs that everyone else knows so I thank youf for mentioning this stuff.

I tried to answer your question a few minutes ago, but I ended up rambling, and canceled the post.

What do you have for a battery? It sounds like an ego or spinner type? Anyway, one battery isn't enough, because if it goes south on you, you're going to be very unhappy. I would recommend something like an iStick, even if it isn't the most powerful one, to go along with whatever you are using now. Always have at least two devices, in case one stops working, or one needs charging when you are away from a power source. Most people would agree that three are better, so you have a backup for your backup. That will make you much happier than a sub ohm tank. :)

I do rebuild most of the time, but I normally build in the 1 - 1.2 ohm range. I also have a subtank, but I like the 1.2 ohm coils just as well as the .5 ohm coils. I plan on rebuilding it most of the time, but I am going to get a pack of the 1.2 ohm stock coils. They will work with my old MVP 2.0 and my Vamo 5, as well as my mechs and the newer regulated devices, and I get just as good a vape from them.

From what you are saying, I wouldn't worry about a sub ohm tank, because you probably wouldn't benefit from it that much, but you would benefit from a better regulated mod, so you can experiment with different wattages and voltages. :)

I have one main battery which is an aspire cf vv. I love how it vape sand being able to mess with the voltage. It came in a starter kit with an aspire nautilas min tank, a pack of coils and a charger. It is a nice starter kit that I am enjoying except ithe battery is way too big and heavy....it feels like a heavy cigar in my hand so it is horrible to take anywhere and I feel stupid with this big thing...I bought it to replace a I nokia vv that I only had for a week and lost and the guy at the vape shop said this one was much better so I didn't give the size too much thought until I got home and started using it. My backup is a $7 evod clone that was the first one that I bought after the little cigs. I want to try a variable wattage next and didn't know if I should get a 30w for the sub ohm tanks or just go with a smaller wattage. I just know I want something much smaller and would like the vw. I don't vape mine too much in public cause I feel stupid with this big cigar looking thing so I just take my little evod out with me and that just doesn't do it for me anymore although I do like the little pro tank 2 mini I have for it. I know I have to get more tanks and definitely another smaller looking battery but there are so many choices and prices even in the mini batteries that I am trying to get some idea what I want. All I know so far is the more I pay for a battery or tank the better it tastes. Thank you so much for trying to help me.

Your ProTank 2 coils are single coils and will work with the Protank3 and Aerotank, but the dual coils for the Protank 3 and Aerotank will not work on a Protank 2. mmm, that's alot of protanks there.

This is stuff we all learn on the way. Just like Smoktech (Smok) single coils will work on all kanger PTs and Aerotanks as well, or the kanger will work on the trophy, ARO tanks among others by Smok...

It seems those two types of coils are the same.

Yes--but with a caveat: With their single-, bottom-coil clearos and tanks, Kanger had two sizes of head. The Protank 2 (and, as far as I know, the original Protank), the PT2 mini, and original Evod all use the small single coil, while the T3S and MT3S used a similar but larger single-coil head (I believe that there is an Evod variant that uses this as well, but I don't know which model). Both of the single-coil heads are smaller than the dual-coil heads used in the PT3, PT3 Mini, Evod 2, Evod Glass, Aerotanks (all varieties), and (if I'm not mistaken) the T3D.

I have had success using the larger of the single-coil heads in tanks that use the dual-coil heads by removing the rubber grommet cap from the chimney of one single-coil head and placing it on top of the grommet on another single-coil head. This increases the height of the "top" of the head to press against the shaft of the tank. I do not know if this technique will work with the smaller single-coil heads (I have heard from others on the forum that it does, but I have not tried it--perhaps someone here could try it).

As far as the difference between single-coil and dual-coil, that is mostly a matter of preference once you can use both in the same tank. The dual coils seem to provide a little extra vapor and marginally better flavor, but the difference, to me, is negligible. Further, when I rebuild my dual-coils, I rebuild them with a single, larger coil, which provides me with better performance than stock dual coils (but it could also be due to using cotton for a wick and a thicker wire, so...). There are also two kinds of dual-coil heads: the original have an open wick system, much like the single-coil heads (both varieties), while the "upgraded" heads have the wicks enclosed. The enclosed heads seem to last longer than the original and provide slightly better performance (again, marginal) but are more difficult to rebuild because the must be further taken apart.

One final note: I have heard (again, not having a subtank, I cannot personally confirm) that the Subtanks can also accept standard dual coil heads (and, by extension, the modified single-coil heads). Whether or not these need to be the "upgraded" ones, I do not know. If this is true, you can then use coils in it with a resistance higher than 1.2 ohms.

EDIT: I guess Tick answered my question about the smaller single-coils working in place of the dual coil heads.

Thanks for the link,i couldn't find it either.I went to the section where all the suppliers are listed, but didn't see cactusesmokes in that section. This may be why more people don't know about the site, the only way i ever found out was through the contest thread,i subscribed to that a while back, and this one popped up.Now that i have seen the site,i will definitely be a customer, but otherwise i would have never known about it.

really that is not right. Those small box APVs are better than what we had a year ago and dirt cheap. A 20 or 30 watt small APV for under $35 was unheard of. In fact very few mods or APVs went that high, if any. The big thing was Varible Voltage, then wattage but very low...

Todays stuff is so advanced compare to what I started on and for others, Those cavemen and women, remember no tanks, flashlight mods and cartos.

Just remember no matter what you get, it should be able to handle the ohms you plan to play with.
Example, the first Istick would fire anything under 1.0 ohm and the Subtank and Atlantis 0.5 ohm coils would not work with it. I don't know how many people got a istick and a subtank or atlantis and were disappointed that it would not work with the 0.5 coil. Researching and asking questions are your friends...

The world of vaping has changed some much in just a year, that who knows what will happen next unless the FDA gets involved....

mmm, did I just ramble on again.

sheesh.....
