Like you I also thought I needed something that tasted and felt like a real cigarette. I am only 10 days into this and here is my impressions. After 30+ yrs of a pack a day I am analog free for the past 3 days. I don't even want a real cigarette taste any more. I am using a Riva 510 with dual coil cartomizers. I have kinda come to the conclusion that your brain likes that taste because that is how it is accustomed to getting it's nicotine fix. It seems to adjust very quickly to another taste as long as it likes and it gets it's nicotine fix.
I tried a couple of times the last few days to smoke a real cig and could only manage a couple of puffs. Yuck! Who wants to taste tobacco when you can taste apple or vanilla or any other of the great flavors. And yes, I really did like the taste of cigarettes only ten short days ago.

Amen...after a few days of vaping I suddenly realized why non-smokers hate smokers so much! God the typical tobacco ciggy stinks up everything! Now I know a smoker from 10 feet away.......nice to be able to 'smell' again ;)

Well its been about a month and WOW what a learning curve. I have spent more money trying to get the combination right that works best for me. I have been using the 510-T atty and tanks. This seems to work great as long as the atty is cleaned regularly. I am finding myself wanting to vape all the time tho.
I haven't stopped the analogs all together but have dropped to 3/4 pack or less per day. This is a BIG improvement. after a cigarette I want to vape just to get the bad taste out of my mouth so I think I'm getting closer to the switch.
I figured Id give an update on how this has worked for me.

Marlboro Light 100's were my poison also. Starting out I vaped a lot of tobacco like flavors from Freedom Smokes. I'm still partial to tobacco vapes (never could get use to fruits and such). Having said that, I turned my next door neighbor onto ecigs and she only vapes fruits and bakery flavors. Soon, those Marlboro's will start to taste funkier and funkier. I think Marlboro's are harder to quit although I have no scientific evidence of that statement; just my feeling based on the fact that Marlboro has always been such a best seller (extra chemicals maybe?).

As a fellow Buckeye (born and raised outside of Cleveland) I wish you the best of luck.

BTW, as far as wanting to vape all the time, the guys I golf with call my pv my "bippy". I have mine all the time.
