Beaumont, Texas Reporter needs help

Colin Guy a Beaumont Enterprise reporter wants to video someone for the online newspaper. I am too camera shy, so could some one in the Golden triangle help him out. I will give him a telephone interview. I have already sent him information and where to find some information on pg, studies, etc.

He appears to want to write a positive and balanced news report. I have exchanged e-mail with him and he said he has found some positive things just reading posts on the ECF.

I posted this in the News section of the forum, but it may get lost before anyone from Texas sees it , so I am reposting here.

Maybe Brandon Allen @ esmokershop.com could help? He's a supplier and I think based out of Port Arthur. His site was closed down for awhile, but I think it's back up now.

Just whoever does it, If I may suggest, watch your Ps & Qs.
We don't want to put our foot in our mouth and say something that may be harmful, that is something that the FDA or the anti's can take or twist out of context to use against E-cigs. It would be helpful if this reporter would give the interviewee a list of compiled questions that are to be asked ahead of time. And then hope you don't get blind sided.

If anyone decides to do this, you may want to PM Bizzybot, he did an interview just like this about 4 or so months ago in Denver. Also post in the general discussion area of the forum that you have been asked to do this interview. There is a lot of people here that can give you guidance. Tropical Bob for one.

The reporter might be willing to drive the hour's time and meet somewhere near you. It might be worth checking into if you're up for being interviewed. Just a thought...

I suggested that he contact esmokershop, but he received a reply that Brandon was out of town.

I will suggest your forum name (only one I know) when I talk to him on the phone. He contacted be by e-mail through the forum.

I have been trying by e-mail to send him to where he can find good information. He is trying to contact ECA also. I sent him links to the New Zealand study and the 1942 pg germ killing study.

His e-mails seem to indicated that he is trying to get the facts. He has spent some time on the fourm reading our posts.

I told him I want a factual and fair report so I could bragg on Texas reporters.

Hmmm... This gives me an idea. I think I'll shoot him an email and invite him to ask some questions directly in our Texas sub-forum on ECF. I'm sure he'll still want to interview someone on video but the forum might be an interesting approach in validating his research from all angles. It would be kind of cool to have a media guy amongst us. Btw, anyone know if this guy smokes/

I talked to Mr. Guy on the telephone today, and Brandon gave him a interview. I did not think to ask him if he smoked. I hope this turns out good.
