Long story short: I bought a LOT of vaping supplies, stopped vaping (personal emergencies left me out of town a lot), and now I'm COPD and need to vape. (I was truly shocked by diagnosis, btw).

Impressive: while my charger and it's battery were fused together and usuable (my fault, left them plugged in), I dug out a blue on-the-go charger (you charge the box, it charges your batts and holds carts), so I was able to plug it into my USB port and charge a few brand new batts I had.

Those batts were Totally Wicked brand; very nice packaging, and even better, all the new batts were STILL charged even though I hadn't undwrapped them! So I was vaping the day I got my COPD dx! Ya Totlly Wicked, right?

No. It's the model I like, Titan 510, but Totally Wicked doesn't seem to carry many 510 supplies (in particular, no more pink batts; no carts (that stick on the atomizer) at all, no spongy things to pour the liquid into. I need a new 510 supplier with good quality stuff. Will take whatever recs you have; it's sorta an emergecy!

My liquids were rank; I was able to savage a few menthols from Totally E-liquid, which I'm enjoying. But I read bad reviews of htem recently, so if I could find one Titan 510 site with good 18mg e juice, I'd be super-happy!

(Remember, I'm really impressed with Totally Wicked's long-lasting batts, charger maybe, and atomizers. Never tried their juice. I'd LOVE quality stuff.)

Thanks for any help; I NEED to be on these e-cisg now!

If you're determined to stay with cig-sized equipment and want to get your liquid and supplies from the same place, check out Halo. They have plenty of good menthols and other flavors.
G6 Basic Starter Kit

However-- I would suggest getting larger batteries for longer running between charges. The EGO type has the most options, and the Twist version has variable voltage. Once you try variable voltage you won't want to do without it, because it keeps vapor output consistent at the power level you select.
You might find something you like here: http://www.thevaporgirl.com/

Take a look at clearomizers, they've become very popular recently since they're convenient and hold a lot of liquid compared to the old atomizer cartridges. The Stardusts are the sleekest and most compact, the T3s are easiest for refilling and replacing the atomizer part, and the Vivi Novas hold the most liquid.

Yes! Thank you all so much! :D I was really confused.

So if I understand the video right, these clearomizers (mini novas?) will fit 510s (like I have; I still have a fistful of new 510 batteries, just worried about the charger giving out in a few months). Anyway, it would be nice to not have to top off the liquid every few minutes! So I'll pick up one or two of these clearomizers for now.

As for the batt, though, yeah I pretty much like one I can slip in my back pocket, but the 510 has lousy batt life. I even have an extra-long one, but I can't hit it — I mean, you have to suck the sht out of that battery to get it to burn. I think it's just trash.

So I'm MILDLY INTERESTED in what I think is a VV batt, but I'm not clear on what clearomizer fits it  Would you check it out? . It's the Totally Wickedone called the Tornado E-go-C Mega Twist, and that's the whole kit, but I HATE flat mouthpieces, and the other clearomizers they have at Totally Wicked seem to be only for 510s?

(I did look at other sites, including Sun Vapors, but ALL those cool-looking clearomizers were OUT OF STOCK! LOL, I kid you not! Guess I'll try after the Christmas rush? I bookmarked Sun Vapor, regardless.)

Again thanks so much. I'm confident to order the clearomizers for the 510s I already have, and the menthol juice; and I'll hold off on the battery and more clearos until I know what fits what! (Please let me know! Like, are there TWO sizes basically: 510 and "VV size"?)

hi
there's another size before you go all box mod.. the 808 thread
Smokeless Image has Volts and 2X batteries.. volt being ciggy size and 2x being more like a cigar size - lots of colors.. a good selection of mAh (battery life) options and several different juice delivery options. There are also out there a bunch of adapters to go from size to size 501 to 808... etc

And then to make matters more confusing - there are the egos. Ego twist seems to be popular.. variable voltage battery.. I think they work with the VV's but I went with the volts so I'm not sure.

You said you have one battery that requires industrial strength sucking power to get it to fire.. might want to give a shot at cleaning the battery head... little vinegar or alcohol and a toothpick with paper towel in the groove to get any gunk out and clean the threads.. could just be a cruddy connection issue.

That clearo would be huge on your 510 batts. It is made more for the ego size batts.

That kit looks like it comes with ego c tanks. They are ok, but not fantastic. No one stays with them for long.

If you want to use your current batts, I would start with this: Crystal Clear Vaping They will work well with the auto batts. (I assume they are all auto- that you don't have to push a button to activate it? Something you said made me think so.) Stick with the standard resistance (3.0). The LR/2.0 will cause too much drain on your batts. You could get one box, but I linked the 3 box deal cause it saves money and comes with a free drip tip. I'm all about the free gift with purchase. :p

Then, if you want to try clearos, I would suggest these: GotVapes PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Cartomizer 2.6-2.8ohms [gv-PHOENIX-XL-2.6-510] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more The vivi novas and such will have to wait for bigger batteries to sit atop. But this will get you started, introduce you to the wonderful advances in the vaping world, then you may be ready for new batts and such when you have had more time to absorb all the info around here and have a better idea of what you are looking for. It is completely overwhelming at first.

I looked at the clearos on the TW site, but they don't seem to have kept up with the latest advances in the smaller ones. That's why I recommended another vendor.

Yes, all I have left are 510 autos. I had bought almost everything a few years ago, and settled on the 510s because I'm a small person (5'6, 100lbs) and LOL when I tried bigger models, ppl said it looked like I was smoking a (something else)!

OTOH, I really need to quit smoking, and I swap my batteries A LOT (I have 6 good 510s left, plus the long 510 that's never worked right), so I've got to get to shopping. Also only have two working atomizers (some had been good but didn't age well, I guess). So I went ahead and got the huge clearos for my 510s, but no extra wicks or anything. If they're good, I'll try to find a bigger batt to put them on. I really liked the looks (I'm a girl!) of The Vapor Girl products. I just don't know what "size" the Vapor Girl products are; I've got some studying to do!

Only other concern I guess is if the menthol juice is PG or VG — thought they would have settled on VG by now but guess not; I'm afraid I bought PG (which has never tasted that great to me).

It sounds like those would fit your 510 batts "The V3 has a 510 screw thread and will fit a variety of batteries and variable voltage devices."

These will also fit, and they're slimmer: Kanger T4 Top Coil Slim Clearos.
The site says: "These are a great choice especially for your regular 510 stick-style e-cigarettes."

I ordered my first EGO Twist battery from Vapor's Choice because they had the best price at the time. Now the price is even lower.

Check out this model (the picture shows a Twist 1000; I like the 650, which is about 3/4" shorter):

OMG guys, thank you SO MUCH!

I've still got just the 510 batts and the USB "carry charger" (the "cig pack" that charges a batt and holds atomizers) but

I got the clearomizer today, and and have been VAPING LIKE MAD! You're all so right: totally different experience than the sad little 510 atomizers + foam :D I can't even DESCRIBE how much better this thing works!

And this is the older Totally Wicked clearomizer that came with two extra wicks, red/pink color; fit onto the 510 batts fine (looks a bit odd but WHO CARES!) It not only holds so much more liquids, but I'm getting vapor like you wouldn't BELIEVE! I'm CHOKING on all this vapor! LOVE it! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Just had to write in and thank everyone; I'll never go back to those little atomizers again! And the mouthpiece doesn't hurt my teeth (it's not the foam one, but nicely curved like mannequin); my LIFE is different!

Questions:

1. I take it the 510-threaded clearomizer won't fit the Ego battery above, right? (That's okay! I'll get another few clearomizers, one to fit Ego Twist!)

2. Are there chargeable "packs" that will charge batts beside the 510, that I can carry accessories in? I know, I doubt I'll need accessories anymore (besides charged batt?)

3. I'm getting headaches. I'm vaping the 18mg nicotine, but I'm vaping A LOT. Is it that it's a new clearomizer, or too much nicotine, or maybe 510 batt might harm the clearomizer? Note: I LOVE the taste (just plain 18mg menthol, nothing special), but these headaches get fierce after vaping 1/2 hr or so. Tips for avoiding headaches? (I'm not usually headache-prone.)

Hi Tracy. I also started this journey back when 510's were everything and cartridges had foam (or teabag mods..lol). You may not need any more answers, but if you do..I have a few opinions.

you can still get a pcc for your 510 batteries. litecig usa has one one the site for under $20. I too am a fan of smaller pv's, although I did use a 650 mah ego-t for more than a year..recently broke out my 510..liked it so much I bought an ecab and an eroll...but back to you...

the headaches are most likely caused by the nic. I had the same issue went I went from an "older" model to a tank system. apparently the tanks and clearomizers are a "more effective" delivery system than what we were used to. I personally dropped down from 18 to 11 mg liquid and it helped a lot...I was just getting too jittery and unable to sleep. You could also salvage your 18mg by cutting it 25-50 % with pg or vg (TW has it) and adding a bit of flavor to compensate for diluting it.

I tried clearomizer..they were fine for a few days, then I started having leaking and burning issues with them. You may love them. Many do. If not, you could try the 510 t atty (tanks sold seperately..lol) to go with the batteries you already have.

hope this helps.

1. An Ego battery has 2 places to make connections: 510-threading inside the top section and Ego-threading further down on the outside. So, it can handle any 510 or Ego threaded atty or carto.

2. They do make a PCC (portable charging case) for Ego batts. Check out dragonbone's pictures of her new Ego PCC.

3. Many things could cause the headaches. But, the most likely (and easily tested) reason for the headaches is de-hydration. Drink more water. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure. But, it never hurts to drink more water anyway!

OOOhh..and if you do try the tanks, or are looking for a neat way to refill. I just got a Ucan today.. a no leakstainless bottle with a needle tip..very exciting :D

The Ucan is almost $20!!! They do look really cool. But, why not just get these instead?

Pan, thank you! I had some lower mg samples and just slowed down on the vaping, and the headaches went right away. Now I'm vaping about normal with the full 18mg strength and the headaches seemed to have abated so, YAY! It's weird, sometimes I CRAVE vape more than smoke, but if I watch how much I vape, I'm good now.

Love the clearomizers + 510 ( + the trusty old PCCase that's TWO YEARS OLD and still going strong!) solution. Noticed also, the new bottles have needle tips, so I can fill and go. (It took me FOREVER to realize what a "drip tip" was for LOL).

I want to try others still, but I'm a little concerned about the suppliers. Like, Totally Wicked's been around forever, which is why I'm preferring them right now, but their stuff seems pricer. Each store seems to have different names for the same batts, or maybe custom batts; and few online stores have the nice colorful clearomizers I'm in love with. OTOH, Totally Wicked seems to be getting rid of their 510 stock! (Maybe it's just the season? Christmas?) But of ALL of the batts I tried from [some now defunct] companies, only the Tottaly Wicked supplies have lasted. (Atomizers, which I don't use anymore; batts, which I do use). I wonder what companies are considered "solid" now, besides Totally Wicked? For color clearonizers, 510 batts, etc. That litecigusa.net place seemed stable (and has a good selection of parts). But the "fun" e-cigs are at places I've never heard of.

Thanks everyone again! Dancing, I DID love the PCC at that link you showed me. Looks much nicer than my old and trusty, and I need a backup charger (my PCC is my ONLY charger! The others died, probably from being plugged in so long).
