Meh. More for me. :)

Sgt. Pepper, I haven't been able to get the Dogfish Head. I've heard it's the best of the best, and my local store stocks some Dogfish Head varieties, but they don't order the pumpkin beer. :(

bummer, blue. The Dogfish brewery is just down the road from me; however, I was in florida for sept & oct. and amazingly it made its way down there this year. We have it on tap here too. it's great out of the bottle but tap brings it to another level. Hopefully, it'll come your way next year. talk to your local liquor store and ask them to request it next year.

They're pretty good at my beer store about trying to get in as many varieties as possible, and trying to order things that customers request. The owner loves pumpkin beer, so she does her best to get the best ones in. Hopefully next year I'll get to try it. My pumpkin beer bar is set pretty high, I had a couple of illicit sips of some homebrew pumpkin beer that my papaw and his brother made when I was a kid, and I'm still trying to find the "perfect" one that tastes like that one did. Luckily, it's an enjoyable quest, drinking all that beer for science. :)

did someone say pumpkin beer?:D I haven't had any for several weeks and decided to pick up a couple 4 packs of Dogfish Head Punkin Ale for tonight. Yes, it is the best pumpkin brew and beer advocate agrees with me. It's amazing it is still around at this time; dogfish must have brewed more this year.

What's up Stosh?:D

Punkin is fantastic but not the best pumpkin beer. That title goes to Seven Points' Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale. IT's pumpkin pie in a bottle and it's amazing. Then there's Rumpkin..... Pumpkin ecstasy...

My bottle shop carries excessive variety as well. It's actually gotten to the point where I'm more shocked if there's something they don't carry as opposed to what they do carry.

I have never met an IPA that I didn't like... some better than others, mind you.

We have some really good local brewers around here. Some of the stand outs would be Columbus Brewing, Great Lakes, and Elevator Brewing.

:toast:

I still really enjoy IPA's, but I have gotten a little burnt out on them. I consumed almost nothing but ipa's for about 2 years. Trust me, I won't turn one down.:D

I drink pretty much all over the map. From Stouts to porters to lagers to pale ale's to IPAs. Anything but sours.

If it's a quality brewed brew, I'm there. I'm drinking Dogfish Head, Midas Touch. It's a 2700 year old recipe that King Midas himself drank. Pretty amazing stuff that works in the hot summer or a cold winter's day. Barley, honey, white muscat grapes, & saffron. It has the look of a lager with a little cloudiness. It comes in at 9% ABV.

I cracked one of those open the other day. Definitely a nice brew. I need to restock on Dogfish. I'll probably grab a sixer of the 60 IPA this weekend. Definitely getting more and more into IPAs, though the 120 is much smoother than the 90.

lol, prophet. As it should be at $13-15 a bottle. Enjoy, my friend.:)
