Hey all, I'm new here and I just have a few simple questions. I'm sure these are answered before as I have searched the forum, but the answers are kind of scattered and I would like a clear-cut response tailered to my needs.

Anyways, I'm not a smoker or e-cig smoker so I am totally new to this! I recently purchased a very small e-cig, here are some pictures (these pictures are not mine):

The e-cig itself:

The cartridges (with plastic coverings):

The cartridges initally come with a part VG and part PG. However; they'll run out soon, and I am aware that I can refill them instead of buying new ones. The question is, I DON'T wan't "bang" or "kick" or any of that. All I want is a thick smoke that is safe and will last a long time without really damaging the cartidge, so I could re-use it many times. What should I use when refilling? I don't really want to mix two, just one mixed with distilled water is what I was thinking. So VG or PG?

(again, I apoligize if it's been discussed 8397492834 times before :D)

simash, find yourself a good 0nicotine e liquid from one of the registered forum suppliers here at the ecf.Look up....see the tab?? Dead center... pick a flavor thats interesting to you. But I have a question for you also. Why would you want to begin vaping if you have never smoked?? What could possibly be the benefit?

Thanks for the swift reply guys. And those cartridges have 0% nicotine, I don't want nicotine. Also, yes I've never smoked and this may sound dumb but I got this little thing a while ago from a friend of mine, it's like a magic trick? It's really cool, if I can remember what it's called I'll say it.. But that's how I got into these e-cigs, my cartidges for the thingy is running out and I just needed some friendly advice from the pros.

He uses it for a magic trick... I wouldn't encorage him to use a real cigarette, and people are going to use them if they have never smoked, think about it, if you had the choice of a real cigarette or an e-cig when you took up smoking which would you have chosen?

He said it's like a magic trick. Unless my reading comprehension is off today, I'm not reading it that he uses it for a magic trick.

First off, like everyone else, why vape and polute your body with stuff even we aren't sure is completely safe? It's healthier than smoking but we don't know the long term effects vaping will have on any of us. Okay, as for eliquid, click on forum supplier at the top of the page. It will take you to all of the verified ECF vendors. Just pick you a juice in 0mg nic in a flavor that interests you. As for just using unflavored, you can purchase plain VG at wal-mart where the bandaides are located. 1ml of vg and 2-3 drops of distilled water should thin it enough to use in your cartomizers. If you want flavoring, Lorann's is an "okay" brand to use but not one of the better ones. Cappella's and The Perfumer's Apprentice are amongst the top. Just mix a little flavoring in with the VG until you reach your desired taste.

Since you don't vape nicotine, I would recommend Happy Vaper - Canadian Quality Electronic Cigarette ECig E CIG E-CIG/Personal Vaporizers and DIY Smoke Liquid, a very reputable supplier who has a good variety of no nic juices pre-mixed, as a well as diy supplies.

If you use primarily VG juice then it takes longer for this juice to soak into a cartomizer, unlike a mostly PG mix which soaks/fills into the cartomizer pretty fast. Whenever I use a VG heavy juice, it takes 3 times as long to fill and refill my carts however, VG makes thicker vaper.
