Your right, it is the TPD version (damn TPD:yawn:), I just wish VV had sent this version to UK/European reviewers, I would have ordered it from fasttech and had the metal tank section.

The PC tank setion is not too bad. Its a nice atty, I think I'll order another from fasttech, anyways.
Heh. Maybe just the tank section. They’re probably available.

I've been a big fan of the original Berserker since it came out and ended up with 3 of them. Today I received my gun metal v1.5. So far I'm enjoying the subtle improvements. It certainly looks nice. Flavor seems as good if not a little better than the V1, and most likely because it seems to wick a lot faster. I also noticed that the area under the drip tip is concave, so maybe liquid won't collect there as much as the V1.

Having just built it, I haven't top filled it yet. Top filling the original always ended up flooding the chamber, so I always bottom filled. After reading this thread, I'm cautiously optimistic that I may be able to top fill.

Got mine a few weeks ago from Element Vape. Best price I could find in the US.

So after a few weeks of use I am not impressed with this thing. I don't trust this tank enough to put in a shirt/pants pocket to take anywhere.

Pros: Flavor is good but not Kayfun good. Easy top fill. Easy to wick.

Cons: I get a bit of of juice build up under the drip tip only after 5-6 vapes which will cause you to think the tank is flooded but is gurgling at the bottom of the drip tip/top of the bell. Top filling will cause it to leak juice out the air hole if you put more than 1.5ml. Mystery leak out the bottom air hole after sitting over night a few times. Not sure why since it was working fine the day before.

I have not even one of those issues. Maybe it is a wicking problem, I think you should use a little bit more cotton. Mine works like a charm.

So after a tank you don't have liquid pooled up under the drip tip? That I would like to see.

I have tried wicking short, long, thick and thin. Still problems. It's not a wicking issue it's the design of the bell. This thing is now sitting in my atty display with the other usless ones. Back to using my Kayfun Primes.

I agree mostly...I have a Kayfon clone unused because the deck screws refuse to capture 26 ga (will replace)...plus fiddly is redefined. The Beserker is a flavor banger and I often use it to test juice and this often results in a bit of flooding and...leaking from the AF holes. The Beserker has deep juice wells and I suspect when tilted or layed flat will allow juice out through the AF. With careful squonking this is not a big problem.
Funny thing is it is the only RDA I have that does not wet the mod 510 when I have the glamour ring fitted.

Make sure the bottom o-ring isn't missing.

It's not an o-ring issue. It is condensation build up in the drip tip / top of the chamber of the atty. I've moved on from this atty. New KF Lite 2019 is now my new MTL top choice.
Copy that. I have the 22 and 24 mm (clones). They are the best. :) Although this RTA has really smooth airflow.

Being quite happy with my original Berserker mini's I just got a mini v1.5 and have been on it all day.

Dunno about it. To me it performs very different to the original mini. It's much airier. The juice channels are bigger, and the juice holes under the deck feeding the channels are bigger. It wicks great but it is looser and airier even on the smallest air hole, same coil and power. Right now I have the smallest hole half closed and can't reproduce the tightness of the original. It's thirstier.

The top fill works fine but the 'twist to lock' on mine is short. I think it should have had more 'turn' maybe not a 1/4 turn but more than it has. It seals but doesn't inspire confidence.

The bottom air ring comes off and took me by surprise the first time I unscrewed the base. Although it isn't loose when turning it doesn't completely seal airflow when closed and it can move downwards slightly when messing with the tank on my device. Sometimes it moves down enough to partially cover the air hole and it leaves a noticeable gap between ring and deck. That probably wouldn't happen if the 510 screw wasn't so long, preventing a flush fit.

Other than that it has some of the same traits as the original mini. Heats up quick (which the space age drip tip doesn't alleviate in any way), and condensation still puddles under the drip tip. If left to cool a bit that drains away.

Right now I'm preferring the original but time will tell if I grow into it.
