Best 1st mod for a somewhat newbie...?

I have had my 510 for a couple of months now and while I love it I am getting tired of the constant charging and batteries dying too soon on me. Can I get some recommendations for a low priced mod that I can use with 510 attys and carts (I'm saying "and carts" - because I really don't want to have to drip constantly)?

Not a mod but the eGo has the best battery life. If you want a mod cheap keep an eye on the classifieds

i got a nicostic,3.7v 900mah,and it lasts all day,you double juice usage but great for under 50 bucks ,i really like mine.i have a 510 also.

I am in the same boat you are. I am not sure how well it will work, but I just ordered a DSE905 from madvapes. It was under 40 bucks without the batteries. It takes a 901 atty, but he sells adapters to use a 510 atty on it. It should be in the mail soon, so I will let you know how it works.

I too would recommend the dse905 with the 510 adapter. 900mah 14500 3.7v batts last all day. Replacement batts are like $5.00 each. I am currently using the 905 with 510 attys, 901 attys and greencig cartomizers. Better battery life than the ego. You can't beat that and its around $50.00 with 2 batts at madvapes.

BK_Malik, although its not generally thought of as a mod, but it is a batt mod, the 510 passthrough is great and $20 or less. Plug it into your USB for all day vaping. You may want a better mod eventually, but this will solve your batt issues for a while, for sure. Lots of vendors that sell 510 gear have them. The 10440 battery in it also gives a slightly better vape than the regular batts.

Same problem here and I order the ego stick from Totally Wicked (they call it the Tornado). Haven't received it yet, but it's compatible with my 501 and provides a longer battery life.. I figure I would try this first before I get into the 5V mods. Of course, I'm only delaying the inevitable before I order the Chuck or SB.

I like the xhaler. Let's me experiment with different attys and voltages.

I also ordered a Tornado/eGo, but I haven't got it yet.

I say eGo also. I loooooove mine and 1 battery lasts me all day long. Give great flavor, vapor and throat hit in my opinion. I can't express how much I'm loving this thing You don't have to buy the kit, you could just buy a battery or two and the usb rapid charger since you have 510 stuff already.

I finally made my decision and bought a DSE905 and I am really happy with it. Battery life is off the chain and great vaping. Next up is a Prodigy 2.1 and then a Joker
