I recently got a setup from VaporSmiths and find it very easy to use and good vapor. I had never tried the 808's before and like this even though I still use all my other 510 products. I also ordered some adapters so I can mix and match products. I will try to put in link.

I never liked the tip heavy 510.
Not good for hands free and batt life not good.

I liked the smaller lighter M-401 series w/ auto batt.
Very durable ecig.
Used this one exclusively for over a year.
Great for hands free.
Direct drip through cut mouth piece.
Batt life is good; I only used 3-4 batts a day.
Tuff draw was my main complaint.

joye 306 atty is great.
Nice light draw.
I would look into joye 306 if I were in the market.

I use 12mg w/ my mods but use 24mg w/ analog size ecigs.

I am awaiting a eGo that arrives Monday, but would love to find the best analog loo-a-like. My wife likes to smoke socially and would love to introduce her with somehting that at the least resembles a real cigarette. I thought this would be an easy post to find here, but it seems that all analog replicas are quickly dismissed.

I know all the batteries will suck, but are there any that are at least quality in terms of the vape?

Thanks

EDIT: Just read the Wonderful World of Vaping (I know, I know...too late). Seems like the best of 2009 was the Joye 510. Does this still stand?

I guess someone really needs to update that.

510 is probably the most popular but I would recommend the eGo.

I know they are not very popular, and I gave them away to someone who was curious about ecigs: Blu

They are great because:
1- The PCC is the size and feel of your traditional pack of cigarettes (and looks better :) )
2- The batts are small giving the same feel as a cigarette. Just a bit heavier (later, she will get sick of the short battery life, but that's later...)
3- The batts are automatic. Lousy for a veteran, great for a beginner.
4- The cartos are OK.

If I hadn't had the Blu, I don't think I would have made the transition to vaping. I had to make my mistakes, and I still think that this one was a good transition.

If you want to buy something inexpensive that works well you might consider the FS 510 kits (Joye clone) that myPVshop.com sells. I won one of these kits in one of Randall's contests and gave it to my wife and it works very well and she likes it. You can get it with either automatic batteries or manual or a combination of the two in several colors. The best thing is that it's 510 threaded so if she decides e-cigs aren't for her you can use the atomizers and carts on your eGo. The kit is only $19.79 +shipping when you use the code ECF10.

JSYK - These kits have a 5 second cut off. Perhaps ok for some people but I have been known to take a hit longer than 5 seconds.

I wanted the same look when I started vaping. A buddy told me to get a KR808D-1. I didn't and haven't looked back. It's just a little wider than an analog but the only battery(s) I've ever got were the 280 mAh. The ones they call shortys will probably be about the same length as a 100 analog, but the power wouldn't be that good so the amount of vaper and the flavor would lack some but it would still look like a regular cigarette.
Smoking isn't allowed in my apartment building and everyone I pass is always giving me the evil eye 'cuz they think I'm smoking a cigarette. So get her a KR808D-1 and she'll be happy.
