what is your honest opinion on the eGo??? i bought a tornado-t from totally wicked and i dont feel like paying just for the TW name and i'm noticing that its basically the same...

I've been using the ego since I started vaping. Still using it. Not the tanks, the ego batteries with cartomizers.

Hi,
I'm new to e-cig,and haven't got one yet. Can someone here give me some recommendation for which one to pick?
I've been smoke for 20 years, and smoke around 5 menthol light cigarette every day. In my situation, which one is better for me? don't care about it looking like a cigarette, thanks a lot.

I have tried the SmokeTip (KR808) V4L (KR808), Volt (KR808), Joye 510, Joye Ego.

By far the best vape is with the Ego. Longer battery life, best draw, best vape. 5 a day isn't a lot and it may not matter to you. But for me the one that duplicates the smoking sensation is the Ego.

After that, I'd say the 510 edges out the KR808 slightly but they're all pretty much the same. You'll get a decent vape. Batteries don't last a real long time but that's probably not an issue for you.

before i bought my first ecig i researched the crap out of it. at first there were so many brands/platforms to chose from and i couldn't make heads from tails. i finally decided on the 510 platform, started on the joye510 (to try it out) and after a week i bumped up to the riva. bigger batteries is always better, the riva is an awesome model to start on and not too expensive. the 510 is pretty much the mainstream for the diy/aftermarket battery mods and seems like it is going to be the standard (reminds me of how when microsoft word first came out when softwares were so varied). i think a 510 riva/joye-ego is the perfect starter kit.

Try Liberty-Flights.com (they list a discount code on their site - 20%). You can also search for the "coupon codes" thread. They also have the e-Power 18650 model. It costs a little more, but the battery life is double (and probably overkill :)).

Thank you very much. Yes, the bigger model seemed a bit much to me, too. The fact I can have two or more charged up batteries makes the e-power 14650 plenty for me. Thanks again!

is there a big difference between the reg ego and the ego-t???

Ego refers to the battery, the regular ego and ego-T have the same battery: 650 mah, 750 mah, 900 mah, 1000 mah, 1300 mah

T- refers to the tank system. You have a plastic tank that you fill with juice and it fits on your tank atomizer. No filling material involved. When the little tank is empty, you add more juice.

Cons- Need to keep the atomizer clean. You may need to adjust the (miscropic) wick if your tank leaks or you get dry hits.

The regular ego comes with a regular atomizer and cartridges. You can vape that way, or you can drip juice directly onto your atomizer (called dripping) or purchase cartomizers which is an atomizer and cartridge combined. You drip about 1 ml of juice into the filling material and place on your battery. You can also purchase the tank atomizer and tanks for your ego.

The battery is the same. It just varies in the juice delivery. You can use any or all with the ego. It's very versatile.

I wouldn't recommend starting with a tank. I'd try that after you've been vaping for awhile. If you do purchase a tank system get a backup box of cartomizer in case you run into problems with the tank.

see this is where i got coned i think by tw! i actually live down the street from there shop in FL and i got talked into the tank, so that is what i started with! but in wanting to purchase more product i also was wondering the best way, i like that its simple in just filling the tank but i do notice some issues with it, and my main question is with the old 510 atomizers (sorry if i sound clueless lol) and cartridges can you vape in the same manner without dripping? the whole drip process to me just seems like a hassle....

You have the ego type battery, right? Why not try some cartomizers? You can get a box of boge 2.0 pretty cheap. I think Joogler has a sale on a box of cartomizers now for $6.40 and you get a free bottle of juice. Use the code ECF5OFF for $5.00 off your first order.

You can get the big ego cartomizers at MadVapes that hold 5 ml of juice.

I don't think you got taken or anything. It's a good kit. Some people never have a problem with it at all. I personally loved it when I first got it. My attys died too fast and I liked cartos just as well so I stuck with them.

I'm no help with atomizers, I really don't use them. I just stick with cartos. I do use the atomizer to test out juice but that's about it.

yeah i have the ego/tornado battery.... i mean the only issue i have with the tank is that the juice tends to "disappear" into the atty really fast if its in my pocket and so forth, but like i said its simple... i like simple. but i was looking around on cignot and i like the prices they have on the kits thats what prompted my question about the difference. about how long do your cartomizers last???

I use clear PG juice so my cartos probably last longer a little longer than if you use juice with VG. Probably a week. Juices with PG/VG a little less.

I bought some echo-e cartomizers and I've been using the same cartomizer for seriously 2 weeks. I alternate cartos but that particular carto is still going. My mom vapes dark juice and her's last less than mine. Supposedly the echo cartos can be cleaned and reused 100x. I don't know about that, but they do last. I've taken one apart and cleaned it but haven't put it back together yet. I'll have to let you know how that one works out.

Hi All, I'm new to ECF and new to vaping. Started vaping 6.20.11, and haven't had an analog since after smoking for almost 40 yrs! Simply amazing to me... I bought a "Travelers Kit" from V2cigs. They have the kr808d-1 batts. I think their kits are good. A lil on the pricey side, but you do get alot for your $$. I am now looking for good diy juice sites. I have ordered from vermillion river. LOVE their Kentucky Vanilla Blend, and I've ordered from Joogler Juice. Like Andrew's Cappuccino. Have some caramel popcorn on order from Tasty Vapor. They look kinda promising for a beginner mixer maybe? They have doublers and flavors. So here is my dilema. Where can I get decent cartos for my kr808 and what's your opinion on the stainless steel CE2's?? Also thinking about upgrading my hardware, but I have no idea what to get. I want to keep it fairly simple :)
