Hey Laura, I apologize if I came off as offensive, I've just had such a bad experience with these cartomizers. I think the batteries are great but the blank cartos that I got were aweful. It wasn't just one box, I actually tried two boxes. Maybe I got a bad batch I dont know. But once again I'm sorry if I offended you. Looks like I awoke the Sleeping Giant with you Volties lol.

LOL All my Volt cartos have served me well.

Here, there, everywhere!
Sorry! We were posting at the same time. By all means, give them to Laura! They'll get a good home!

No no but thanks:)

You have an awesome point and he likes the batteries - i went through MANY things including many minis before finding the volt and since then no matter what I try - the Volt is my go to. Just works for me.

Let's all just agree to disagree and continue begging everyone on here that doesn't like their volt carto's to send them to us:D We can split them:D

Paint with a broad brush much? I smoked for over 25 years @2ppd and find the Volt satisfying. :)

I smoked for over 40 years pack-pack and a half a day, and my Volt and I get along just fine. I tried Resurrector cartos that I was told over and over were the greatest things since sliced bread and I don't like them. Everyone said manual batts are better than auto. I have two manuals sitting in a box and use my autos cause that is what I like.

We all have to find our own way. If we all liked the same thing, every woman in town would be after my old man.

OKAY - I am Not looking to start a fight or anything even close to one . . . Nor to begin a "Flame-War" . . . AND as You Know I DO USE THE VOLT and find it to be one of the best, if not the best eCig out there, especially for beginners and those that need to have something similar to the feel, look, and still use something close to an "analog" . . .

I really enjoy The Original and Only "VOLT" . . .

However, NOW NOW - "Swedishfish" is one of the best and most knowledgable people here . . . And not that she needs my help - but, She gives her opinion without forcing that opinion on others . . . AND more importantly she knows her stuff and what she is talking about when it comes to not only specific suggestions - but to the general knowledge about eCigs . . . More importantly, she only gives suggestions, not like some people who will try to get into some ones face and say YOU MUST DO THIS . . . NOR does she force anyone to accept her advice . . .

SHE IS NOT ONLY INFORMED - SHE IS A GOOD PERSON ! ! !

If it's not cutting it for them like it is the OP- and that's the whole point of us posting in the thread- to help the OP, they either need more voltage, a different juice delivery system or higher nicotine juice. Maybe all three.

It doesn't help when the OP has to appease the fans that get defensive if you don't happen to like the pv they like.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hink-you-needed-pv-looked-like-cigarette.html

In the OP's original post, they didn't say how long they had smoked, or how much for that matter. While it is true that many people move on to bigger battery models, some do stay with the slim ecigs and are satisfied. To each his/her own. No hard feelings Swedishfish, you are still one of my favorite people! Hope that helps the OP.

The interesting thing is that when I used the prefilled Cartos (Desert Joe) they actually had much better flavor and vapor, they just didn't last that long. I didn't want to spend a fortune on prefilled all the time which is why I bought the blanks. I honestly think that there's something vastly different between the two. I'm beginning to think that if you have a good battery, everything that makes a PV what it is is found in the Atomizer/cartomizer. That seems to be the difference between a good vape and a bad vape. What have you guys heard about PROSMOKE? They still use the 3 piece design and "they claim" that they have the best flavor for a mini ecig because of that atty/flavor cartridge design. That's why why still use the 3 piece, because "they say" that a cartomizer will never be able to compete with this type of design. What have you guys seen/heard about the PROSMOKE Ecig?

I do not know if you tried this - but a number of people get the filled carto's (cost the same as blanks) and a bottle of the same "Nic-Juice" and just keep topping the same carto off (Keeping the carto wet & full) . . .

And I "hear" the flavor stays the same as when the original filled carto and the carto's even last longer that way . . .

Myself I use the blanks and fill with the "Nic-Juice" I get from other vendors and my carto's last quite sometime ;)

Just a Thought :D

I have used horizontal cartos for about a year now. I have to wonder if the problems your having are more about the type of liquids going in to them. What are you using? They don't do well with thick liquids, are you using high VG?

Edit: Sorry... I see this has already been brought up

That may be the case for light smokers or people that are not long time smokers. It's not the case for heavy smokers or people that need something like a low resistance cartomizer or higher voltage batteries. That's why vv mods are so popular. Or mods in general.

Not just you, but it's really silly for people to get offended just because a pv that you use may not be working out for them. We're all here for the same purpose, to quit smoking cigarettes.

Not so.. I was a 2 1/2 to 3 PAD for 25 years and the 808 is all I use. Have been smoke free for a little over a year now.

Hey CR I've been using two different flavors from V4L, its there nobacco juice, I think 24 mg concentration.

It really is odd that you would get the same thing from so many cartos. I mean we all get a bad one here and there, but it sounds like you had this problem with a lot of them. I can tell you that I am 100% sure that the pre-filled and the blanks are the same.
I also use some 4VL Wow liquids in them with great results. Although some times I do need to let a freshly filled carto sit for a day or two before it taste right.
You may have already said and I just missed it, but are you sure it's not a bad battery? A bad battery, high VG liquids, or under filled cartos are the only things that I can think of it being.
Wishing you luck and hope you find what works for you...even if its not the Volt :)

I didn't think we were offended more surprised? I was a long term heavy smoker, I was "pushed" to get Ego's I did get every MAH Ego there was and tried so many cartomizers I cant even remember them all. I eventually found Volts from Smokeless Image and I am a very happy vaper now. I am really tired of seeing people being discouraged from trying smaller ECigs like Volts because of the bad wrap from the dodgy small cig types.

I too tried them all - Ego, big batt mod - the Volt did the trick to get me off analogs. Was a 1-1/2 pack per day. I'm just sayin. :D
