Do a lot of people prefer a 22mm tank vs a 25mm tank? I'm a glass artist working on getting into the carto tank game.. I make intricate glass pendants and marbles as my full time job, you can check me out on Instagram @introvertglass. Not sure if this is against the rules but please let me know if it is! I fairly recently quit cigs and began vaping, I couldn't believe how easy the transition was! Once I found out about glass carto tanks I got looking into all the top companies which I don't have to name obviously. One thing I noticed is that a lot of them say their borosilicate glass is "Pyrex" but they use no registered trademark symbol next to Pyrex meaning its not made by the company Pyrex but is just another way of saying boro. This leads me to believe it is china made borosilicate, I know for a fact that the colored tubing options you have (cobalt, violet, amber ext.) are china made. Not sure if these companies get their clear from somewhere else but the difference in quality between China made boro and Simax(Czech Republic) or Schott(USA) is fairly significant. Some companies aren't even annealing their glass which is absolutely absurd, it should be illegal to sell a product to someone with a piece of glass that still has stress in it from being cut and could break literally at any moment in time for no reason what so ever!! Remember that! Do not buy any tank that does not claim it has been annealed!! Anyway I'm really looking forward to becoming a part of the community!.. All my tanks will be made of clear Simax(Clearest boro out there, ....s crystal clear), colored glass can never be as consistent as clear, meaning its weaker. I will also have anodized aluminum caps standard which I'm getting prototypes of this week. Get ready for some crazy lookin tanks folks, they won't be the stantard looking carto tank ;)
