Thanks Bad, i will make sure to check your blog entries. Sticking with clearos for now as i want to keep it simple.

Doing a little research and it seems Heavenly Heather Vapors have quite a following on this site. I will order sample packs from them and virgin vapor.

One last Question before i start reading your blogs : PG versus VG pros and cons, what combination is ideal if i care about throat hit, flavor and vapor in that order.

Redhat, thanks for your input also, and if you know anything re PG vs. VG i would appreciate it too.

Nicotine concentration in the vapor has the most to do with throat hit, more nicotine the more throat hit. Next comes the PG ratio, the more Pg the more throat hit and flavor. Vg is most responsible for vapor production.

Amen. Thanks to advice from Bad, I ordered a IBTanked and received it today. 19mm Xl complete tank, 25 bucks. Its easy and it works great ! It looks great too. It holds more juice than those others mentioned ( and you can get them even bigger)

The taste is better than the Kanger Pro, Evod, Vivi Nova. Yep, Yep,Yep.

I think the Pro Tank is better than those other two but I guess that's a personal preference.

There is still a place for the Kanger Pro original to me...... like if you like to throw it in your pocket, the drip tip will never come off.

If it were me, get a Kanger Pro Tank for 12 or 14 bucks, but definitely TREAT YOURSELF to an IBTanked cartomizer tank. You will be set!!

PS.. Baditude, If you see this post, thanks again...... always sound advice from you !

They still out of the 22mm Stainless caps? I'm on the wait list. Need the 22's though.

Just my :2c: If you want a "good" quality carto tank take a look at the Artemas Tank available at Mad Vapes: Search results for: 'Artemas'

I have four of these and they take the Smoktek flanged cartos available in 1.7 to 3.0 Ohms. They are locking so the carto does not move or come out, are inexpensive at about $9.00 without carto, and hold up extremely well. I have been using mine for 6 months and the only thing that has happened is that one did become cloudy from Early Gray Tea juice. Now it just looks frosted

This is an inexpensive way to get into Carto Tanks and if you like them, you can always move up.

Op: please don't buy a cartotank until you have used cartomizers, either boges, smoktech, iken, extensively. If you find the vape from a cartomizer unsatisfying or lacking somehow, than a punched cartotank won't change things one bit.

Afterall a cartotank is just a housing around a standard cartomizer thats been modified with holes to allow juice in (thinner juices work best). Having said that, as you can tell, the most popular areibtanked and phiniac enclosures but def on the pricey side.

So my advice, establish that cartos are better for you than clearos, and only then go out and grab some nice glass tanks for it.

I went to Baditudes Carto Blog again and he has a basic but good youtube vid of how to fill and thenn again refil your tank
Electronic Cigarettes 101: Tank Basics - YouTube Anyway I learned from watching that I am not a "normal vapor" The guy in the vid says due to the amount of juice I use that I am a "hard core" vapor.

I have also learned from Billbeckusa that when it comes to vaping that he is an "animal"

So if you are an "animal vapor" , is this the highest level obtainable ?

I've got some new mechs in 22 and 23 that will be used with a new carto tank. If it's on FT, I think I have one now. I'm also taking the plunge into RBA's, something I never thought I would do. But, my God, you watch these YouTubes and I'm all amped out by it now. Amazing. I'm rebuilding coils now, so just seems like the next step, and awesome fun. Btw, I just got an email that they have the 22's back in stock now today. Will be getting one for the wife and one for me. I've just heard so many great things about them. Can't wait to try.

So I have no idea about carto tanks and which ones are the best, but I ordered this one:

KosmicGlasstankanddriptip_zps3fcfcc41.jpg

...because I'm in love with it aesthetically. I have not received it yet, but I'm really excited. The tank and the tip are both glass, hand blown.

Is this a good tank - anyone know? It's by Kosmic Glass.

Also, are all cartos black like the Boges, or do they come in different colors? Thanks!

All cartos regardless of manuf will come in stainless steel and colors but you need to get the ss ones if you plan to put it inside a tank. for example, you'll never see a prepunched black carto. The color is a sticky layer around it cool them off from the old days, I guess.

That tank looks interesting, cool yes, but i imagine if you bought it like that whoever sold it to you charged you a pretty penny on account of the glass drip tip. It doesn't look like it holds much liquid either, reminds me of a 'lil mama tank (size-wise) and if you're really gonna use a tank its better to have the bigger ones that accomidate xl size cartos, less refilling. Tanks than hold less than 3ml are a JOKE to me.

Try it 'n let us know how ya dig it, because in the end, that's all that matters - how you feel.

First off, about "colored" cartos and using them in a cartotank....you don't want to use those in a tank. The colored part is actually a sticker with adhesive, which you don't want soaking in your juice. The sticker is extremely difficult to remove, so just purchase the silver stainless steel variety for use in a tank. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3295-2-sample-list-vendors-selling-pre-punched-single-coil-cartomizers-cartotanks.html

Kosmic Glass has had a rather "notorious" reputation here on ECF in the past. Apparently the vendor/manufacturer was guilty of taking money for orders and then not delivering the goods. I don't believe they have ever received ECF approval as a vendor because of this practice.

But Vwls, I see from this post http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/442281-ok-order-kosmicglass-dan-glassma-n-now-july-2013-a.html that you were already aware of this. So...buyer beware.
