jjoohhnn, I still want to know if you know of any small batteries besides the panda with a high c rating?

The Panda's are not a high drain battery. I cannot find one in 510. The only one I can find is in KR808. Someone is sending me a battery to try. There might be two high drain batteries out there but I will not know till I try the other one.

The Panda is one of the best in terms of out put in a 510 that I have tried. I would call it an above average battery. In terms of output it walks all over the 3.4v Joye 510's.

It does not do so well against the best KR808 I have tried so far.

Has anyone tried the new mistic 2 lately?
I would not have recommended them in the past because the battery would clog in a few weeks and become unusable. Apparently it is now a new company with a better battery. They are available at Walmart, Rite Aid and Weis. The easiest way to refill them is the condom method.

Below are some video reviews.

Argh, it is that word again. When I see that word I throw Provarie's through the wall, and through windows. Fortunately the Provari can take it.

Haha, which word specifically?? I have many devices for VV Semovar and Provari, for Mechs GP, Ba Gua, Chi, Atmomixani, RBAs Kaifun, Taifun, GG, UVO...but if I feel the absolute need to have a cigalike (at the Zoo with the kids) the eRoll (with some massaged priming) gives the best vape in my opinion!!

eRoll....when I think about them too long I throw a Provari.

I have a friend who is a die hard cig a like user and she loves her e-roll.

I think that a lot of people here forget that some people just really want a cig a like and there is nothing wrong with that. They do not all "suck"

There is no right or wrong here it just boils down to personal preference.

The way it was being portrayed was wrong. If someone likes it for it's mix of features there is nothing wrong with that.

When people start saying it comes out best because of certain specific properties or areas of measure that are untrue that is a whole different ball of wax. There where too many people saying it hits the hardest and whey I asked how that could be based on the numbers I was told that basically defies the numbers.

If people were giving an honest statement of it's qualities and not elevating it to the number one spot in all areas of measure and it cannot produce it that becomes a false claim.

Why I really hate it is I quit believing anything anyone says about products anymore. I understand preferences vary and I can see someone liking a product the best but does not come out on top of any single statistic.

When people were getting specific saying hit hits harder than any other cigalike that part is simply not true. That part is not opinion, it is not preference it is a misstatement.

I really like the Provari but if someone were to say it produces more amps that anything else out there that would be a false statement. If someone tried to say it was light weight that would be a false statement.

If someone just says they like it best the only thing I can ask is why. If they respond that it is the mix of features that fits them I have not problem with that.

It was just the frequency of statements about the parts that can measured or easily compared that finally bothered me.

The thing is the thing that finally tipped me over to no longer believing things people say anymore. If it was one or two people it would be different but when masses just nod their head without making direct comparisons everything becomes suspect.

I was eventually going to start trading off all the stuff I don't use. I instead started giving the stuff away to people I think will appreciate it. I am participating still to look at peoples posts and decide who to give the things I will not use. It will be hard to give those things away after I make my exit.

There is no right or wrong here it just boils down to personal preference.

If someone were to say that a 350mAh mini-eGo was heavier that a Provari with an 18650 would you call that an personal preference or a misstatement of fact? If you didn't know you could put them on a scale and verify which is heavier.

Personal preferences I understand but the issues I have have are things like the example I have just put up.

I know some feel they do not like the eroll but let me tell you coming from someone who does not tinker at all and is mostly good with computers... this device for me is so easy. The atomizers last a really long time and only need to be cleaned under hot running water without taking apart and then blown out from the bottom. Yes you can tinker with them if you _want_ to make them last longer but I easily get almost a month out of my atty. Its easy. Then you get a needle tip bottle, put your favorite juice in there and vape away.

I have an evod, protank and just got a Itaste VV 3.0 and to me the eroll still gives me enough vapor and throat hit to keep me satisfied.. and easy to use when I drive, out in public (shudder) or am playing a video game ;) They all have their place but I think this may be a great option for your husband for when he is out. Getting into this whole technical mumbo jumbo just does not make sense for what he obviously needs it for.

You might not having anyway of knowing this but I will ask anyway just in case.

On the battery itself to you know what it's chemistry is?
If it is regulated to you know what kind of regulation scheme it uses?
Do you know the C-rating of the battery or how many amps it can pull?

JJOOHHNN, you seem to have done extensive research on the topic of cig-a-likes and their performance. What, in your opinion, is the best one out there? Could you provide the manufacturer, model, and version (if applicable)?

I am currently looking for a very good cig-a-like for use while riding my motorcycle. I used to smoke while riding (open faced helmet of course), but since switching over to vaping, I have not found a suitable cig-a-like that works for me in this scenario. Sadly, my eVic and VTR are far to big, bulky, and heavy to just leave them dangling from my lips while riding. I was highly considering the eRoll, but after reading your posts in this thread I think that is now out.

Thanks for all the good info!

I typed up a mega long post giving pro's and cons of the various things I have tried for what you say you want but the post got lost during a timeout. I will type it again later on.

There are a lot of things to consider.

Thanks for your answer. Maybe that's why I used to like the 808's when I first started.

No I haven't seen any specs for this battery. Nor have I tried one lately but I think I will buy one and try it again. They are cheap enough.

The only time I use the cig alikes is when I am paddling. They are cheap so if I drop one in the river it's not a big deal. Another factor is they fit in my waterproof cigarette case. I can also hold one in my teeth and take a few strokes to avoid rocks if I have to. At this time I am using the 510-X. It is a bit fatter but the same length as a 510 but it comes in at 400 millamps.

Actually only a couple of enhanced KR808's that I have found outperform the best of the 510's that I have tried. I only see the generic KR808's to only be a tiny bit better then the typical unregulated 510's. It is only in the premium lines that I see a big difference.

Outside of mAh the 510-X are not up to there either.

No disagreement there but I can still use a lower ohm carto for a decent hit and vapor. With the higher milliamp I get a longer run time than with a higher c but lower milliamp battery. In my opinion with these small batteries the advantage goes to the higher milliamp.

Regardless of how John feels about the eRoll ... I just read through the eRoll sub thread ... there is tons of positive feedback.

So I decided to pull the trigger on the eRoll :2cool:

Here is what I am waiting for ...

1 Genuine Joyetech eRoll Starter Kit (stainless)

4 extra Joyetech eRoll Batteries (3 black and 1 stainless)

5 extra Joyetech eRoll Atomizer Cone Covers (3 black and 2 stainless)

4 extra Joyetech eRoll Cartridges (5pks)

and the Joyetech eRoll Carrying Case (the one that holds the extra battery)

I ordered from myfreedomsmokes with a BLACKFRIDAY coupon for 17% off everything and free shipping.

I have the eVic for my home rig ... I can't wait to check this out for my mobile vape

On something the size of a cigalike there are limitations on what it can do.

You can get one with a lot of punch but it will not last long.

You can get one with relatively good run time for it's size but it will not have as much punch.

You can get one based on the recharging case that goes with it.

The 3.7 regulated ones using LiFePo4 have steady predictable power and a good number of mAh relative to their size but do not have as much punch because they cannot carry the amps as well as some others.

The ones with a high drain battery can carry the same amps as an eGo and can power a 1.5 ohm device. They can also maintain above 4v at 2.3 ohms for an hour. You get to pick a lot of punch for 30 minutes or good punch for an hour.

What are you looking for in a cigalike battery?

Unless you know what you are looking for in a cigalike I think it is going to be a lot of trial and error for you or you might just stick with something you get that is not quite what you were looking for.

Jjoohhnn I'm glad to see you're still with us. Your the kind of person we need here. Just saying...

I had great results with V2 as a cig-a-like. I used them exclusively for half a year after I quit smoking. V2 doesn't always ship as promptly as some others outfits though. Still, their battery warranty is great, the carts are easy to refill with whatever juice you prefer, and they let you "stack" coupon discount codes on top of their sales prices a few times as year. They worked well for me as a 45+ year old adult male when I was out and about and didn't want to look like I was smoking a .... or hitter. Outrageous mods and big clearos don't really fly with my crowd.
