Hi All,

I've been an avid vaper since 2009, I got a Joye510 kit from cignot.com and never touched analogs again, however, I'm a techie, I've since bought 2 "Buzz" and am dedicated. HOWEVER, numerous friends that I convinced to get into vaping bought basic 510 kits and after a short amount of time pitched them and went back to analogs, some even though I was very good about holding their hands.

Now I've got a buddy who's wanting to try it again, but he's adamant he doesn't want to go the same route he went last time, mostly because he claims the 510 leaked in his pocket (he had a basic automatic battery kit). He's willing to drop the coin on a good setup, but really wants to get something that he can sink his teeth into. He doesn't mind prefilled carts as long as they're available (which here locally in rural AZ might be a problem) and he wants a strong TH. I'm lost because while I get into this as a techie, he isn't looking for a hobby, he wants it to be simple. Currently he's buying puresmoke disposables and seems to like them, at least when they first come out of the box.

ANY IDEAS??

If he's not tech savvy and wants a reliable relatively fuss free unit you can always point him to the ego/riva type kits.

Have him order some empty cartomizers and a couple of nice liqiuds. You can always share your e-liquid stash with him to give him some "samples".

The nice thing about having him get a "fat batt" style PV is that if he outgrows it, it is a great emergency backup.

I second Sarge's recommendation. I have a bunch of PVs, mods, tanks, attys, but I always come back to the 1100 mAh Riva with the Boge LR cartomizer. TH is of course dependent on the juice and nic level, but the Riva is at least 3.7V freshly charged (generally closer to 4.2V), and the Boge cartos are excellent, cheap, can be washed and reused, and work great with a drip tip for very easy filling and comfy vaping. And while any carto that is over filled will tend to leak, cartos leak a LOT less than attys, last longer than a cart, and really hit well.

Good luck!
