Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
All good points. The LeCig VV is the safest of my toys (and yes, it came with the Panasonic IMRs). I also have 250mAh & 380mAh stick batts (3.7v-4.2v 808s) and 1300mAh fatt bats (3.7v). Probably stupid, but if I didn't have the chart I probably would've tried a 1.5 atty on the the little batt and that would've bumped me up to about 10c. In any event doing the research to understand all the different permutations really helped me to learn what works, why and how...

Excuse me but isn't a "kit" something you build from parts? If so I recommend the "EverCool". A thread started by BigBlue30. I built one three years ago and used it day in and day out ever since. DSCN3698.jpgDSCN3702.jpg

Yeah, no such thing as too much learning. I take the simple route. Never use a LR atty with a battery less than 450mah. I still have a few stick batts' from when I started vaping. Now and then, I'll stick a carto on one for S&Gs, but that's about it.

Anyway, those stick batts aren't like LiPos. You might kill them with excessive drain, but they won't explode into a big fireball!!

You have a "mod-kit". The O.P. was asking about a "starter kit".
The fact that this is the beginner forum, and the use of the words "entry level" clued me in to what he meant.
That Evercool looks pretty slick, but hardly "entry level". I presume it's VV?
