I have finally decided to get serious with this new found hobby of mine and spend around $300 for what I need to get going. I have strongly considered ordering a Darwin, but it never seems to be in stock. Therefore I think I might go with a Provari, but I haven't completely made up my mind. Wanted to get input from other users to find out what I should buy, and additional add-ons, etc., for around this price range.

Thanks!:D

I have the Provari V2 with the extension cap for 18650 IMR batteries. It's long with the Vivi Nova tank on it but it still fits in my jeans pocket or the inside pocket of a jacket.

I waited for a long time just to see what new and revolutionary mods were in the wings. I finally decided to jump for the Provari and haven't been disappointed. It's consistent in its operation and it's tough as nails.

Well Brandon hasn't made a Darwin in over a year, so I guess that's out.
IMO there are three PV's that stand out from the croud.
    #1 Silver Bullet
    #2 Reo
    #3 Provari
The #1 reason for choosing one of these three is customer service. If something should go wrong with them, you send it in and have it fixed instead of throwing it in the trash and buying something else.
All three also have proven track records.

I have to say loudly: REO VV GRAND! My standard Reo Grand was the only PV to be able to knock my 60+ year chain-smoking great aunt off of her nasty Merits, so it became hers. My VV Grand is in the mail:w00t:! I hate coming off as a fangirl, but the bottom-feeding is so great for those supremely lazy moments that we all have (c'mon, admit it!). Happy deciding. Let us know what you choose!

After starting with V2 cig-a-likes I did a bunch of research and bought a ProVari, it is still a daily go to device for me a year later. It is still one of the top devices available. When it comes to the juice delivery device you have a ton of choices and everyone has their favorites. I would suggest a 510 dripping atomizer for home use and a glass carto tank for when out and about. Not at all fond of dual coil cartomizers, prefer the single coil Ikenvape above all others. Their Cannon 510 attys are tops too.

I just got my first setup 3 weeks ago. I went with the Provari Mini, extension cap, both 18350 and 18490 batteries, charger, and 2 dct tanks. I couldn't be happier. When out and about I use the standard cap and 18350 bat and the 18490 and home or work. The cartos and tanks are easy enough to clean. I do recommend a nova tank as well
