Best Mech starter order for $100?

Hey everyone, I've been interested in getting a second PV that is a bit different that the one I have. Right now mine is perfect for traveling and what not, but I wanted to get into mechs, rda, and RBAs that would give me a better vape at home. I don't have much cash, so I'm looking to spend around $100 on the best bang-for-your-buck clones you can find. I have prepared a cart from fasttech because they seem to have everything, I'm not really worried about the shipping time. (And I've heard they've gotten better.)

cart2.jpg

Here is the cart I prepared. I'm looking at you guys to let me know if there are any better clones for around the same price tag. I don't really want to spend $30 on a Nemesis clone if there is something loads better for $35. I'm also wanting to make sure the items I've chosen don't have a better counterpart. (Want to make sure I have the "good" clone.) I already have kanthal, tool kit, and an ohm reader. I'm looking to get a mech, dripper, rba (easier to use when not at home), batteries, charger.

If any of these items in this cart have a better option to take their place let me know. One thing I'm looking for however is that the setup looks nice. The atty HAS to sit flush on the mod as well an be the same diameter. I would prefer if the SS on each looked pretty similar. I know some may not have the same desire for a "matching" setup, but I know many or most of you all do. Thanks for the help.

Edit: sorry that the photo is pixilated.

I can't provide mech advice, but I will suggest you split that order up, batteries separately. Even though you don't care about shipping time, I'm sure you'd rather sooner than later. All batteries from FT are considerably more delayed than non-batteries. For that reason, you might consider just buying the batteries elsewhere (ideally not eBay or Amazon).

I wish I could provide mech advice, but I will be interested to see the responses you get!

This! It can take up to 3 months...

Other than that i think your cart looks great. I'd buy kayfun v2 instead of that r91 though. I've 3 of the v2s and they're simply amazing.
Another plus for the v2 is that you get a nanokit included with it.

I own 4 nemesises from FT and they're all great. They do require abit of cleaning once they arrives though. (The threadings)
1 our of the 4 the button is abit crunchy on but it's quite easy to fix. Either clean it up and make it snug, and / or switch to magnets.

But i realy do recommend to buy your batteries locally. It's simply not worth to save a few bucks just to wait a couple of months for them to arrive.

Also if you want a fast delivery, order all "in stock" / "ships next day" in one order. And all "ships in x days" in another order.
Else you could be waiting for a long time. Since when those 7 days have passed, the nemesis might be out of stock for example. = Order will be put on hold until it's back in stock. And that can be a PITA.

So try to manage your orders well.

Ships next day + in stock = one order.
Ships in x days = another order.

And since the shipping is free it's np to make several smal orders. (they need to reach 20$ though, to qualify for free shipping)

Good looking start!

Yeah, what everybody said about getting the batteries elsewhere.
A recent change in other countries shipping policies has also taken airfreight off the menu for raw batteries. Raw cells will only go on the slow boat. It really does take forever that way. I have an order still in transit via slow boat. Its been in transit now for 45 days.

The Plume Veil is a new addition! It wasn't there Friday when I made my last FT order!

Thanks for the info. Where can I get these type of batteries? Lowes or radioshack?

Thanks for the tip! I originally went with the kayfun but I always hear the Russian 91 is superior. Does anyone have any comments on the plume veil clone? It's pretty cheap but I don't really know what other good driller clones there are. The magma is a 23 mm and I need a 22 mm.

The Sony batteries can be found at RTD Vapor, Illumination supply or even Mt Baker Vapor.

There have been fake/counterfeit Sony batteries found so I would not look towards ebay or Amazon for them.

They will not be at Lowes or ratshack.

The $24 FT Kayfun 3.1 is really nice from FT too. I have several and they are a pretty good clone.

I own am Ehpro KFL+ and had zero problems out of the box. I've also read good things about Hcigar and Tobecco (sp?). All three are 1:1 builds so they will be 22 mm.

As for batteries I would check your local Vape shop. If you don't have one near by, at least order online from a US vendor.

The v2 i recommended is apparently infinite clone. There's no reason to buy a 3.1 v1 imo.
The v2 is slightly improved, better airflow aswell.

Personally, I prefer the 3.1 to any of the lite versions.

As a bonus, the 3.1 + the nemesis hybrid kit that replaces the drip cup is a nice bit of kit.

Good looking cart. As most have advised, remove the batteries and buy those local.

You might want to throw a couple other low-cost items in there that I found I wanted eventually and was annoyed I didn't think of initially. Drip tips, O-rings, battery case, that kind of thing. They're all a couple bucks at most.

In any thread I see about mechs and Fasttech, also gotta say that that best item I've ever gotten from them is $15.38 GP PAPS Style 18650 Mechanical Mod - brass tube at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

It's not just the best for the money, it's the best period. Compared to the Nemesis, only downside is it doesn't house 18500 or 18350 batteries. The button is fantastic, the threading is fantastic, the look is fantastic, it hits hard and is very easy to use for a beginner.

I've heard some great things about that little guy as well. It is easy to use? The more I research mech safety and read threads about units super-heating, the more paranoid I become about short circuits. The top cap/510 connection doesn't give you trouble? I'd like to own my first mech eventually, and that one seems pretty awesome.

With each atty, the adjustable contact needs some adjusting so it makes contact with the battery and sits flush...we're talking 15 seconds worth. But it means that all your attys will sit flush and look sharp.

Once I played with the firing switch for the throw I want, it hasn't loosened or given me any problems and I've had it for over a month. For me, the most important function of a mech is how nice the switch is. On the Paps it's stellar. You can adjust it so you just tap that sucker and it fires, and when it's inset that much you can set it down without having to spin out the locking ring.

What advantages doses the stingray have?

I saw this deal on reddit, but concerned about the paint. Looks nice though.

https://www.vapingwalrus.com/groupbuy-1/white-copper-nemesis-white-plumveil-copper-drip-tip.html

More compact, better switch design, floating 510, hits considerably harder, comes with a hybrid connector. Nemesises are good mods but mods have evolved in the past year since they have released. They were the mech mod most of us started with but this isn't beginning 2014 anymore and there are better options on the market.
