With the warmer weather coming, my trail rides are getting longer. What mod would work best in a downpour? I don't think a wooden one would be a choice, but what about the Provari or Infinity? Whatever I take would either be in a pocket or saddlebag unless in use. I don't like the thought of being unable to take a hit longer than 30 minutes. (It is very habit forming you know). I don't want to do any damage to the mod. I am wondering if I should dig out my 510's, or Ego's.

Do have fun!! The mini GLV sounds like a winner for you.

I use both an OG and an eGO, both in Lanyards while I ride the Grissly (quad) back and forth to the kid's house about 3 miles away. Rain or shine. They are both easy to use with riding gloves, no problem. (would be a problem with thicker gloves). I imagine the GLV would be simple even with thick gloves. One day during a downpour I forgot to tuck the eGo back insdie my coat and by the time I got home it wouldn't work... until I turned it upside down and let the water pour out. It was good to go 30 seconds later. I'm sure the GLV would fair even better because it hangs at a slant unlike my eGo. Take both and see! :)

I vote for the REO Mini...can't be damaged by rain, dropping, or even being kicked by my horse. I wonder if Rob would consider adding a loop on the bottle side so I could attach a lanyard. It would make me feel better about it while riding.

Here is a thread by a guy who lost his for three days after a party. It had sat open in the rain, and fired right up http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/177358-durability.html

Like Breaktru said, a DIY copper. Do you have any skills bjannr? You could do a switchless copper. This is just about cheap and failproof as they come. I could submerge this thing in a lake, take it out, swap the batt and atty and keep vapin (nothing even to rust).

If you want to buy, what in my opinion is the toughest mod available, I say go for a Reo mini or max (all mechanical bottom fed juicer).

If you want to go scuba diving with your vape supplies and take a couple vapes when you hit the surface or the beach, search for theads of the Warbox...everything is enclosed in a waterproof Pelican Box...

I was going to mention the war box too, as I do a lot of kayaking and starting to save for one myself.
