I have only ever used the nic from RTS vapes

The different levels of nic increase in cost as you go up ie: 36mg 60ml is $6.95 compared to 100mg 60ml is $14.95

so the higher nic is a better deal

However (big however) if you accidently spill 36mg nic and your pet (or small child) gets into it will certainly make them sick but if the same thing happens with 100mg it will more than likely kill them (a small amount on your skin will cause major illness)

I recommend reading all the stickies in the diy subforum if you are going to mix it yourself

But if you want to buy premixed juice in flavors and dilute it down as you work on quitting your dependency on nic ie: starting with 24mg flavored and adding 0mg nic of the same flavor in increasing levels that works great (Tasty Vapor has a 4 ounce doubler 0mg nic that makes this scenario very cost effective - 1 ounce = about 30ml)

see my signature below to see how cheap DIY can be per month

Wizard Labs in Florida has about the best quality and price on nic base....but they're out-of-stock a lot as a result!!:(
Personally I use Wizard's 100mg/ml VG base....and "cut" it as needed in my DIY...a little goes a LONG way!!:D
It MIGHT be a good idea to pick up a "bit more" than you plan to use immediately.....and either freeze or refrigerate it -- it will keep for over a year stored in the freezer (because of its composition it doesn't actually "freeze" as much as "gels").
There are a couple of juice vendors that sell the Wizard Labs base....don't recall who they are offhand, though -- I just order from WL direct....WHEN it's in stock it ships quickly -- and VERY WELL PACKAGED!!:)
HTH!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Hi. Do you mean tobacco flavors for ejuice or actual brand of nicotine base?
If you mean tobacco flavors for ejuice, i've gotten lucky, just very recently started, and
i like all but one of my tobacco flavors from Halo.

As for diluting, it should be thrifty if you just mix your own PG and VG then add to your favorite flavor.
(it will dilute the flavor itself tho)

As for ejuice base with nicotine, i have no input at this time but do plan to go there in future.

Wizard labs is one of the best, many threads about them in the DIY forums
OOs a lot lately because the demand is very high, very pure.

every base will have its own slight flavor so some people like certain brands over others.
as for the higher grades its usually a few bucks more for higher but it breaks down into much more then you can get the lower grades for cost wise VS ml

I was speaking about the nicotine base. I just introduced myself to the forum. I'm going to be working with my husband and brother in law, who are both chemistry buffs. I have a knack for flavors since I have been cooking and baking from scratch my whole life (my mother was a cooking teacher). I recently had a store name a juice after me since I pretty much told them how to mix it, it's called Kari Berry, lol. Our goal is to make our own brand of juice. My sister in law is opening her own shop in March. She already has a local juice vendor, but we really want to make in house juice at a professional grade. I just need to find the best distributor. I will eventually be buying in bulk. We will not sell anything until it's been tested and perfected. I'm a wee bit of a perfectionist, so I want to have the best stuff!

The choice of nicotine base is going to be founded on the taste of the product, quality control and price.

Taste is always subjective to a large degree. The sense of taste works differently for every individual and every individual is looking for something different in what they taste.

I highly recommend taking the time to read this long-running and popular thread regarding differences between nicotine base brands.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/298547-nicotine-comparisons.html Don't miss posts #62-65 which compare seven top brands and defines how this entire thread works.

That said, I just love nicotine base from Xtreme Vaping. It isn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for if you want the purest, most subtle tasting nicotine base on the market. This nicotine has always been sourced from a single supplier. Xtreme Vaping has been active at ECF since just about the beginning.

Cost? 250 ml of 100mg Xtreme Vaping base for my DIY juice lasts me for well over one year and costs slightly less than $100. I don't stockpile more nicotine base than I can use during the next 18 months. Because nicotine base is exposed to oxygen during dilution I want to keep it fresh. After dilution to 25mg I store my base in Boston round bottles in the freezer.

Thanks for the link, I'll be heading there now. The baking comparison was more about taste. I think juices are more comparable to wines. I've mixed the oddest flavors together before where my brain says "gross" but they turn out great. I'm currently vaping a 24 mg bubblegum, pomegranate, mango, & piña colada juice mix and it's incredible, though it sounded disgusting in my head.

I'm doing the same thing, I've been making and testing juices for the last 2 months. There's definitely a learning curve to getting it to taste right. My advise is to let your creations steep at least a week in a cool dark place, the flavor will change with time till then. I've had juices that were really weak that turned out strong after a week. Some people suggest trying it before the steeping, big mistake if you plan on selling it one day. As the taste will change after it gas steeped. Good luck
