How well to "skins" hold up? Just curious. The concept reminds me of covering things with contact paper, which always ends up looking pretty ratty pretty soon. But I've not tried "skins" on anything lately.

The skins are a thin rubberish cover. Much like smartphone skins. No contact paper.. LOL

I have the Cloupor DNA, fasttech DNA, and an Asgard Authentic DNA. Never really had a major problem with any of them. On the fasttech nothing seems to sit flush, it takes the longest to fire, and the ohms read is off by atleast .2. Other than that works just fine. The Cloupor fires a little faster but fit and finish are better IMO than the fasttech. Only thing I've noticed is the Cloupor does turn on by itself every once in a while. The Asgard is best in show but like I said they all work well.

OK, I tend to want to adjust voltages by .1 off and on during the day, and/or as my eliquid thickens or my wicks start to clog. Even jumping by .2 can make flavor either disappear or go slightly burnt tasting.

Experimenting with an Ohms Law Calculator (nice, I used to have to do that all with my computer calculator!) I found that it takes .2 volts to change by .5 watts in the low voltages on a 2.2 coil. My Zmax mini will only adjust wattage in .5 watt increments, but will adjust voltage in .1 volt increments. (As the voltage gets higher compared to the resistance, a .1 change in volts becomes more significant, and once I was in the 4-volt range, .1 volts gave a .48 wattage difference.) So.....is .5 watts a standard increment in vw like .1 volts is in vv?

Dna30 based devices adjust in .1 watt increments. So based on ohms law, the device will regulate the voltage, to get as close to the wattage that you set the device for.
