IMO,,,,
I give a +1 to the rta's that can be Rebuilt/Rewicked without draining the tank although I do love me Erl K's (Authentic & WoToFo Clone). Top-Fill is another BIG Plus in Design.
From personal experience, my suggestions/Candidates:
Bellus (in single-Coil mode). Very Tough to top when all Facets are considered.
GEM & "Coming Soon" GEM II
Erl Konigin (but again, must be taken down to rebuild/rewick)
The Tengu (just an AWESOME RTA but rare)
SquapeR (IF I wasn't waiting to procure a GEM II when it premiers in next week or 2, I'd be all over that 2-body 3-deck listing in the FS Section). Although a Bottom-Fill, not a Biggie or Deal-Breaker to me.

Both the GEM and the SquapeR are about as Simple & Easy as it gets to Build and Wick. Very forgiving and perform fantastically.

Although it doesn't exactly meet the Thread "Criteria", I'll add a +1 to the STM w/rba. Nice, easy, versatile, and gives an amazing Vape for what it is and costs. Also, solid as a rock in TC w/Ti build.

And another for the Squape R s, unbelievable vape out of it. I cant comment on the clone since i havent used one but the authentic is well worth the money in my opinion.

I have 4 SXK clones from 3F and 1 authentic I bought here in the classies... they all perform stellar with excellent flavor, airflow from uber-tight to DL style and a really good looking atty.

I was just trying to make OP smile honestly, haha. I am certainly of the camp whom believe any size/shape tank, capable of holding X amount of e-liquid, with a rebuildable coil deck/base, is to be known as a legitimate rebuildable tank atomizer/atomizing unit. I have been here on ECF for going on 7 years now, this being my 2nd account/username. I can tell you, that I was literally here, when we were working out the names of many of the units we screw into our many mod's 510 connections today... I remember personally weighing-in on the debate on whether or not clear cartomizers were to be called clearomizers, or clear cartos, considering, a brand new atomizing unit was hitting the market with much more liquid capacity, and we were beginning to call it the clearomizer... (the original 510 carto-sized clear cartomizers, and the Ego-Threaded Clearomizer-Tanks that we know and loved... then to make things even MOAR confusing, they came out with 510 cartomizer sized top coil tendril-wicked atomizer tanks, and we had to name this as well! haha) I am not saying i am of an elite group of OG vapers here on ECF, that named all the sh*t we've been thru, and still use tday... but, i do remember being a part of the conversation :p

it's my belief that the subtank is a true RTA due to it having a true RTA base in the kit. The EGO-one tank may not be a "True" RTA, simply because the base in-which you use to rebuild the EGO-one tank is more of a replacement coil-head, not a true rba platform. (Although i have never seen the EGO-one's RBA Coil-Heads, so Idk if this is true, maybe they are true RBAs... If they have screws to hold the coil down (Neg + Pos) I'd count it as a true RDA Platform... If it utilizes a system in which the coil is plugged between the head-body and a silicone/plastic bumplug for the ground terminal, and then the other end is between the positive pin and whatever else, then, that's essentially just rebuilding a replacement head.

The Ego One rebuildable (clr) coil is essentially rebuilt just like the old protank II coil. Still, I like it a lot and use it in my Ego One, Tron, Wismec Amor, and Egrip devices. The coils are cheap enough to swap out in a hurry...or easy to rebuild when you have some free time.

I still love my original Kayfun Lite (V1) tanks. I have 4 of them.

The new wotofo serpent is turning into my fave rta of all time
Do tell.. whatya like?

How does it perform for the MTL above-ohm vaper?

How does it perform for the DL sub-ohm vaper?

What are the features you like? Anything you don't like?

Any leaking or dry hits?

You edited for length. If you ask me, it's fairly clear what I'm getting at. But I'm biased I suppose.

I don't want to change my set-up nescecarily. I do enjoy collecting this stuff though, and I do shop for new products from time to time, so you never know. The current trend seems to be dual coil RTA's, and they get all of the coverage. So, I thought I'd see what simple single coil tanks, or even devices that have different deck options, people are like at the moment.
I have TFV4's with all the build decks. The single coil and the dual coil decks are easy to build on as well as the Clapton Deck. I also have the Subtank and Top Tank with single coil decks that are also easy to build on. That said. I love the TFV4 best.

I just purchased a Monster V2 deck from FT and breathed new life into all the Kayfun stuff I have (bell caps, nano kits, etc):

Also got the Monster V3 on FT:

Both of them are VERY airy. I can MTL with the V2 but its very loose and the V3 is DL only. No AFC comes with so it is what you get out of box. I'm going to play around with a vape band and see if I can do a working man's AFC :)

Do you have a point? I asked for the opinion of others. Thanks for pointing out that I'm asking for opinions, I guess.

All he is trying to say is there is no "best". "Best" is so subjective. I have a "best" for different days of the week almost.

It's hard for experienced users to point some people in the right direction. My advice, see what is popular, experiment, and find out what YOU like. I can guarantee that my "best" set up will be majorly different to yours.

Vote for the Hurricane

+ 1 for Hurricane.

I recently received one and it is a competitor to the beloved Squape R(s)! I immediately got a couple of more.

Stunning flavor, easy build, easy fill (easier than Squape), good looking and the FT clone is top notch quality.
I was skeptical because it's so Taifun like and Taifun was OK in my book, but the flavor is 100X what I ever got out of a Taifun.

I wick like this:

I'm surprised the bachelor hasn't been brought up.

single coil only, airflow more restricted than a tfv4/ serpent .. but super easy wicking and has plenty of room and a nice tank size

i've been loving it

I'm waiting on the Nano because it has parts with differnt diameters to restrict the airflow for MTL or open it up for DL. Looks very promising:
