I recently ordered a second billow v2 and got a herakles shipped by mistake. I decided to try it and I don't find I get good flavor or vapor. (On the .6 ohm coil) i tried it on a mech, as I don't have anything over a dna30.
And that won't give me the goods.
Will it?
Is the mech no good with the herakles?
I assume it is me since the tank gets such great reviews.
Any thoughts?

I still prefer my Atlantis V1 with V2 0.5Ohm coil. I use a long-narrow drip tip and slightly restricted air. Amazing favor. Blows my Kanger STM out of the water, including their new vertical coil.

Getting a Triton for the bigger tank and top-fill. If the new coils are better then wonderful but I know I can run it with the Atlantis coils too.

I can't answer your mech question. But I prefer the .2 ohm coils over the .6's. I can't say anything definitive about why. I think the flavor is better from the .2's. I am getting a second Herakles, so the only way to be sure is to try both side by side, with the same juice, to try to pin it down. I will say, I tend to run the .6's at higher watts, which drains the batteries faster. I run most of my juices at 66watts on the .2, and was up around 80watts on the .6.

IMO I absolutely love my VCT Pro. I broke my original one and ordered the Kanger subtank because of it's popularity. I honestly was disappointed, I don't get the craze. It's a good rebuildable yes, but with just using it as a tank and not a rebuildable I was not satisfied. I went and ordered another VCT Pro and am happy again!

The .2 ohm coils are great, the taste is great, and I have never had it burn ever. The coils last a loong time for me too. The only con I can think of is the loose drip tip and some slight leaking but not much.

This has been a very interesting thread for me. I've been debating on my next tank purchase. I like the STM that came with my subox and i was wondering if i should get a subtank/ another STM / or something else. Still newbish and not planning on building coils at the moment. I'm not a Kanger fanatic but i've been a fan of everything i've used. I ran a protank3 on my MVP2.0 before the subox.

Is the only difference between the subtank and the STM juice capacity? I found the subtank to be cheaper than the STM at the online store that I got my subox from.

From what I remember the main complaint about the Subtank over the mini was that there was more leaking due to the o-ring or gasket I believe. I think they fixed that though with the more recent versions of it. Also think that there was something up with the old rba deck on the original subtank which got fixed in the mini but again not positive since it's been a while.

I would have to say out of the ones I've tried, the new Aspire Triton Tank seems to be amazing at both and is my favorite sub tank so far. I've tried pretty much all of them besides the Herukles and the Zephyrus.

I think I will grab this if I find it on sale somewhere.

I'll try the .2 coil tonight.
It's a nice looking tank.
And as much as I like the billow v2,
It would be nice to have a good tank for when I cannot build my own coils.
Thank you!

I know "taste is subjective", and it's weird how everyone experiences these thing differently. But my other half and I found the Herakles significantly better than the Subtank M. But we have very disparate taste in juice. We are in agreement though, that this tank is giving us the flavor notes as described for the juice, and we weren't getting that with the STM.

Of the reviews I've read, the Herk is ranked as good as the Arctic, and the Freemax Starre. I'd love to try them all but there's a point you gotta stop. I guess. LOL

I'd like to try all of the tanks you listed as well. They all get similar positive reviews and seem worth a try. I just have so many subtanks and spare subtank parts that it is hard to invest elsewhere

Yeah. It's hard. That whole "I might be missing out" thing.
I'm settling where I'm at because I have an RTA (The GEM), a consistent prebuilt tank (Herk), and a dripper (Alliance) that are all delivering on point flavor.

Some juice was decent in the STM, but some tasted completely different than described, even if it tasted good. And some were just misses. Like Razzcup from NT, I tasted nothing but sweet in the STM. No raspberry, no cake.

Good luck in your vapeventures!

Lots of *best* subΩ clearomizers out there depending on a lot of different factors. I have a Mini Subtank, Delta 2, Atlantis, SMOK TCT & a UWell Crown.

The one I REALLY love is the UWell Crown. But you better DIY if you are going to use this tank. Great flavor & vapor production. I can only run it right now at 70 watts because I don't have a mod (yet) that goes any higher. Many people are saying this tanks "sweet spot" is around 90 watts. It really drinks the juice and I go through 2 batteries/day even using other setups along with this one.

The secret to why this tank preforms so well has got to be the coils. I haven't come anywhere close to getting a dry hit.

I've only had it a few days, so I have a lot to learn. I'll be interested to see how many mls of juice I can run through a single coil before I need to change the coil.

I'm a huge fan of this tank too. Excellent flavor and vapor production. Plus it has the easiest top fill you will ever find.

I do agree, it is a juice sponge. But that is the price for this level of performance.

Out of the tanks I've tried I'd give the starre the nod, haven't tried the zephyrus yet, when I run out of coils for the starre I'm gonna replace it with an rta, that's one I've been leaning towards
I just tried building the RBA section for the first time. Wicking is a bit hard to get, but it works awesome as an RTA once you get the hang of it!

I had a terrible time with the Starre/Maganus. Coils didn't last me any time at all. A day at the most.

I've got, in order of my preference:
arctic
starre
matrix
Herakles
STM
Atlantic v2

I like the crispness of the arctic hits, and the starre's holding capacity. The matrix mutes the flavors a bit, but is a decent tank. My two complaints with the herakles are the coil ramp up time (sure half a second but annoying) and the wick holes. The others all have nice juice wells. I like on how when you're filling the herakles and the matrix the base of the tank is exposed glass, much easier to dump any old fluid.

I get a week out of all these tanks' coils. For me all these tanks' airflow are good. Matrix has adjustable top airflow (which I have closed off).

I haven't tried a crown, zephyrus, or the smok tank, but I keep reading good things on them!

I rotate 4 devices with different tanks I should use the starre exclusively to test coil life, my guidelines is a coil should last about a month

Howdy folk,

Just got my istick30w and nautilus mini aspire 1.8ohm setup. Using a 50/50 SpaceJam juice. To be honest, not very impressed with either the flavor or the vape production. I get more vape of the spacejam juice using my vision spinner2 with a CE4 tank. Maybe it's just me...tho bought the above setup after a lotta delibration. Anyhow...it's a learning curve and a wonderful journey so far. Loving every bit of it so far; but, then again...

Now my questions are as follows, please help me out ( Ps:- I live in India, so ordering online not happening as it has to clear customs and Indian Customs are notorious for jacking people! ( Really don't wanna end up paying custom guy more than what the gear actually cost me. No point in that ! ) I can only ask relatives/friends flying in from abroad to get my gear whenever they are visiting. A cousin coming in Mid September...so hopefully she can get it for me. So now...

question 1. Will getting a sub-ohm tank with an istick30w do the trick in improving both flavor & vapor production?

question2. In a face-off between Aspire: Kangertech: Eleafus Lemo2, which one would you recommend along with their pros/cons. What is the max(least?) ohm an istick 30w will be able to handle?

question3. What ratio of PG/VG juices best go for sub-ohming? In the above mentioned tanks. Planning to order from MtBakerVape..so it has to be from whatever they stock. All/any suggestions most welcome ..want massive clouds yet want flavor & a tad bit of throat hit too. I guess, producing massive clouds is a bit gimmicky..yet...it's fun for me..a novelty factor to help me wean off smoking for good.

I would deeply appreciate if you good kind folks could help out a fellow vaper
