So after 2 weeks of reading all types of threads here & confusing myself even more I've atleast made this part up. I want to go the traditional size route. I've bought about 4 disposable blu cigs from walgreens & with my job & lifestyle for now this size/format will work best for me. Now I want something good. So what do I choose? A kr808 a halo g6, something else? I need you masters of the vapor force to chim in. Tell me what & why, "please no get a ego" my mind is made as far as style goes. I ded want either black or stainless also.

Feel free to post links of good deals also. I'm planning on pulling the trigger in the next 24 hours.

...never used that size unit so I shouldn't say anything...but I'm a bit mouthy and can't help myself...iff'n it were me and that was my decision, I would go with the Bloog Maxfusion, the Volt from Smokeless Image or one of the offerings from Vapor4Life(in no particular order), since they seem to have better batts than the slimline 510s...I'm sure the ciggy form factor experts will chime in.........

I can only speak to what I own, which is a KR808 Volt from Smokeless Image. I use it every day at work, both to go out with my smoking buddies at break and for the occasional stealth vape in the ladies' room. Fits nicely, (and discreetly), in my jacket or pants pocket - fill a carto, screw it on and go. Batts last me all day + at work, (just hitting occasionally), and about 3 hours at home. Cartos are quality and I get many, many refills out of them. SI only offers black cartos, but they have a very good selection of battery colors - including the black and stainless you're looking for. It's a good kit, and I'd buy it again.

Having said that, I know there's lots on the market I haven't tried, and other vendors for the KR808. Happy shopping, and let us know what you end up with!

My mom has some KR808's and uses them occasionally. She has a V4L kit KR808 and a Volt.

I have a 510 (mini) that I also use occasionally and really like that.

Personally, I prefer the 510 but I honestly don't notice a huge difference as far as performance. One isn't wonderful and the other terrible. They're both good for what they are.

I'd go with the best deal you can find.

One of my first PVs was a 510. It used to be the most popular starter around here. It has pretty good power for a decent throat hit. Short battery usage and overall lifespan though.

I don't know what's hip these days but I do see a lot of people talking about the KR808. I don't really know anything about it. I do have the 510, 306 and a 901.

I guess it depends on what kind of cigarettes you smoke. Is it full flavored or an ultra light? If it's full flavored, or close (lights), I would go with a 510 or maybe that KR808.

There are many differing opinions on which is best for certain things (taste, vapor, throat hit). I'm sure someone else can chime in that likes a different type. =D

I currently use a mod because I no longer care what it looks it, just performance.

Personally I'm a V2cigs user, but I think I'm in love with the Elite 808!!! I've discovered that I paid far too much for my V2 kit, but i've had VERY good luck with they're customer service department. Setting the money aside, it's not a bad product, but if i've read this forum correctly the V2 is outpaced performance wise by the likes of Bloog and Smokeless Image. If I was starting over, I'd probably try the Volt or the Elite. Just my 2 cents.

I have a KR808 as well from a vendor that's overpriced. ;) Probably better to get one from Smokeless Image or Vapor4Life. It definately feels like an analog cigarette in size ('100s', long type cigarette). Little bit heavier but not too much, and just a little bit bigger around but barely noticable. It's a very good replacement for someone looking for an analog look-alike. Overall it hasn't been any work at all to make the switch for me.

Vapor production is decent. And it's keeping me off the analogs, which makes it pretty good in my book. :) You'll want to get several batteries and a portable charging case if you plan to be away from power for more than a couple hours.

You can't imagine how much I hated those little batteries and what a relief my first eGo was. That said, from what people say around here, the bloog max fusion and the smokeless image volt are the best. They are just different brands of the same thing. There's one other one that's in the same class but, it's a little different. The name escapes me at the moment though.

Those links go to kits that have a PCC. You need that with those little bats.

Go with the volt! I love mine! They have fabtastic customer service. Look around to get your juice though. There are plenty of better juice vendors out there that have better juice at a better price. Lately I've been hooked on ECblends chocolate hazelnut and their pomegranate blueberry. At at 8 bucks for 30 ml, you can't go wrong!

Sorry I did not read the whole thread. There is nothing good the diameter of a cig.

The smallest thing I recommend is Joye 510 manual (only Joye, only manual). You can get a white kit and use tan Boge cartomizers on it from NiteLiteVapor.us. I prefer the black w/ blue LED and I use black Boge cartos on them. You need the 3 ohm Boges. 9.2mm diameter and 100mm long with a cartomizer. And you can get a very nice roomy cig-pack look PCC from NoSmokeVA for $30.

Agreed. I spend most of my day either at work, or at the UH campus downtown. I might very well die without my PCC. Which I also paid too much for. LOL!! I usually carry a short(100mm) auto, and a standard(110mm) auto. My manual batts won't fit into my PCC.

My home town! I graduated from UH CC. :)

Although I a noob at both this forum and vaping in general I felt I should offer my opinion here. My decision to go with the 510 form factor was for lifestyle reasons as well. I just did not want some big thing hanging out of my mouth at the office smoking circle personally... I had the luck of getting my first pv for free, an automatic joye 510 with an atty and cart. After a week, I grew to hate having to top off my cart all the time. I ended up purchasing a joye 510 tank system. The tank system is simply amazing! No more having to top off my cart, and no more burnt poly fill. I absolutly love the vapor production and the throat hit is perfect. Battery life is around three hours when I am home but will last me an entire work day (four 10 minute smoke breaks). I purchased my kit at www.indyvaporshop.com (well at the brick and morter location he maintains here in town anyways). Service was awesome and he gave me a lot of information that I was looking for. I felt that the price was far as well.

Sounds like your doing great! Glad your happy with it. I got my 510 for free too (won it here on the forum). It's not my all day pv so I'm pretty happy with it. I use it to walk the dog or short trips. Just stick it in my pocket.

Is the 510 tank system something that connects to the trad e-cig or is that a Ego style system?

My vote goes to the volt. It's a great ecig and what I recommend to everyone now that wants to try an ecig. I used to recommend the ego and have several ego's but they are not as convenient or as easy to use as the volt. I recommend people get the standard kit with the auto batteries. Me and my wife each have four of the bigger (78mm) batteries and we buy blank cartos and add our own juice. I like to play with the vaping stuff but my wife doesn't, she justs wants something that works and is consistant.
