Obviously there are cheaper nic's out there, but the costs of getting them into the UK from the US are substantial.
Actually, US to UK isn't so bad even with a darned nasty import tax category. Certainly never approaching anything near the 5 to 10 times the product price.
And time, on a pack of 10 carts, can be critical ... but 250ml bottles of base and dilutant is clearly long term thinking. And you DO have to think long term to make vapping cost attractive.
Platinum Ice is totally UK produced.
Yeah, but that price difference kinda blows the 'buy british' ethos out of the water for me. USP Grade is every bit as rigorous as british pharmacological quality controls.
I have bought in from China, but the saving and the time it takes to get here are just not worth it in my book.
True, china is a very different animal. I wouldn't trust any of it as there is little if any regulation and too many sweat shops that don't know the meaning of the words 'quality control' or even 'safety testing'.
The suppliers I'm looking at are all western european or american so far. Civilised airmail is much faster than the 'slow boat from china'

Liberty Flights sell 250ml of 50mg liquid at £50 but using a discount code, you can get 15% off,,,,so that is £42.50 for 250ml which is a good price.
Ahhh, so 17p per ml ?... At that price I'd actually buy from a british supplier rather than chase the 7p/11p offshore. It's worth the extra just to help foster a healthy self-sufficient UK scene.
But I really don't see the justification of 98p per ml, sorry Petbe M8. Like the quid per cart vendors, it is a little damaging to the eCig scene. The best way to be aggressive right now is to open it up, not nail it down. If the industry wants volume and stability against legislation then it needs to promote wider adoption on clear economic grounds - partcularly in the current economy.
Just my 2centimos
But thanks for the pointers guys : ) As an end-user I think 17p per ml for 50mg is just about acceptable. Nice one : )
