I just picked up one of these:
AGR+ Pyrex Carto Tank - Kidney Puncher

Should be here in two days. Frankly, I don't know why I would go with anything different, it's pyrex and stainless steel and has a locking system for non-flanged cartomizers, along with a fill hole.

A friend of mine has two IBTanked tanks, there giant one and a baby one. There really nice and all, but they run expensive and don't have a locking system. At the end of the day, most carto tanks are just a tube with some o-rings to hold the cartomizer in place. As far as "features" go you can get them with locking systems and fill holes, and in poly-pro or glass. Glass+locking system+fill hole from the people that make AGA and ILO? For only 18 dollars? I couldn't see a reason not to get one.

Hopefully it will turn out as nice as I hope it is.

I hope it turns out as nice as you think it will too. It seems like quite a nice piece for under $20, and I look forward to your review. If you'd be so kind as to PM me when you post a review, I'd love to read it.

To all that have posted so far... thanks! It seems that anything from IBTanked is well represented here and, at least with Baditude so far, the the Valley View tank is a good choice as well. The AGR is certainly interesting and well worth a look.

Terrific! So far, so excellent!

I specifically have not gotten into an AGR tank because of the slew of problems that people have had with them.

Before I started using tanks, I was concerned about the lack of locking the carto in place somehow. I work in an industrial setting and am pretty hard on gear and was worried about possible leakage or slipping.

Having used the OCDs for the last few months, I can report that I have not had one slip on the carto, ever. If nothing else, it is a good idea to make sure the inner o-rings that snug against the carto are well lubed with juice before putting the tank in place / refilling, as they can sometimes feel a bit too tight for some folks. In real life, the locking feature is kind of a non issue.

Once you actually get your AGR tank, I would be curious to hear how it works out.

I have three Valley View Vape pyrex tanks and twelve IBTanked pyrex tanks. Hmmmm, wonder which one I like best? :D ;)

BTW, both are fine, high quality tanks. I prefer the IBTanked because there are more choices in diameter and juice capacities.

I guess I'm the opposite -- my last VVV order brings my total to 14 VVV tanks. Of the 3 IBT tanks I had, I've sold 2 and may sell the other one as well. IBT is a great quality tank, but VVV tanks fit my needs better due to their design (esp. the fill hole). Plus, I'm more a fan of plastic tanks than glass. Nowhere near as pretty, but more practical for me.

Well... as Valley View is having a 15% off sale starting tomorrow, I'll be getting a 7ml Sidewinder pyrex tank for myself, and a 3ml PolyPro SW for the wife... who, as of today, I finally talked into quitting cigs and starting vaping!!!!!!!!!!!!

The IBTanked... give it a week for the shock to wear off and the wife to get dialed in, and I'll snag a few from them as well. This is just as much a hobby as a life requirement, so I see myself out-pacing Baditude and hazozita... some day.

Two more votes for Valley View Vapes and IBTanked. I think highly of both companies. It really depends on your preferences. VVV tanks use thicker glass, which is sturdier, but costs you a bit of capacity. VVV's metal caps are thick too. The caps on IBTanked tanks are machined beautifully; they're really slim and beautiful. VVV has the side-fill option which is really convenient for some vapers. IBTanked offers a slew of colors and paint jobs for more personalization.

If it matters to you, both companies are based in the U.S., so you'd be supporting an American small business.

Outstanding news about your wife quitting cigs! Regardless of the brand of tank you find works best, quitting cigs is all that matters!

I got the 15% off newsletter as well. I was irked at first since I put in 2 orders this month (VVV was closed for a while since the owner was dealing with a back injury) and would have liked to have saved some $. But, I'll probably pick up another couple tomorrow. Can't let a 15% sale go by.

Gracias. She always caughs the first hit off my rig, but she likes the flavor. She sees that I'm not smoking and I haven't killed anyone or eaten the dog... so she's willing to give it a shot. Now all I have to do is convince the daughter.

It ain't a big deal, but it is a deal and at just the right time, so I might as well take advantage. Who knows, IBTanked might do 20% off week after next. :p ... Or not.

Nice find. I really like that tank especially since it has the fill hole at the top and at a good price.
