I'm looking for a new varivolt or variable watt pv. I'm looking for one that I can use while charging or as a passthrough. Also hopefully with a modest price. I'm thinking $150 or less. Now the cheaper the better but I don't want to buy something that will break in a week. I do realize that the new kgo vv meets these requirements I just dont care for the form factor. Its relatively slender width and added length makes me feel like I'm vaping some sort of magic wand. I'd really be more partial to a non tube mod. however a tube mod is fine so with a bit different proportions.

LOL... Should have went to bed when I wanted to.... On board charging.... Uh.... Going to bed

It's actually still not a bad suggestion as what he's looking for is, so far as I know, non existent.
I've been looking for the same thing myself. I sit at a computer all day, but not the same computer, so an onboard passthrough charger is perfect for me a I can plug it into the computer while working at one place and plug it into the car charger when commuting between sites and never have to worry about a dead batt and don't have to tote around extras which I will invariably lose.

Unfortunately, other than the Ego form factor batts (edit: Oh, forgot the iTaste. But that's really just a square Ego), I haven't seen a VV passthrough at any price. But if you can carry around an extra battery, a mod that uses 18650s is the next best thing to a passthrough.

I've been out of the buying game for over a year but I just started searching for something exactly like this a few days back. I ended up buying the innokin itaste. It seems pretty cool and can be used as a pass through.

There is a joye one I believe but it only has 4 voltage settings and is only a passthrough, not detachable.

Check out the itaste. I prefer feeders but since it will primarily be used at home I picked up a Phoenix rebuildable and will be just using that on it. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread though to see if there's anything else that comes up

The VVPV from notcigs. It's a little above your stated price, but there is a coupon code for 7.5% off plus you get another 5% off if you've purchased from notcigs before and that puts it pretty much exactly at how much you said you're willing to spend.
How do you use it as a passthrough?

I just received my itaste today. I got my mom home from the hospital, settled her in, and unpacked it. Maybe it's because I had a hard day but it's a pretty damn amazing mod. I really dig it. It has worked great so far besides minor first time use hiccups and, with the relatively low proce compared to others, I definitely recommend that you consider it. I may decide to use it over my box if the Phoenix rebuildable I'm going to try on it works well. There will never be a day where 800 mah lasts all day but having a USB charger and being able to use it while charging makes it possible
