No... I just went over 600 hits with the Trustfire. 900mah

Dang. I guess I need a trustfire protected. I was wondering about the 5 click off because I just noticed that it counts those 5 as puffs. Well, at least I know if I get the right battery, it will probably give me more hits.

I'm looking for a 2 bay battery charger for these 14500 batteries. Whats a good deal out there?

If you're not in a hurry, then you might want to consider purchase it from DX:

TrustFire All-in-One Charger (for 10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650/CR123A) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

or from madvapes if you want it sooner:

TrustFire TR-001 Lithium Ion Battery Charger

I also prefre DMM from HF, it's handy to check the resistance as well as the voltage left in batteries. :p

Mine has no hole, but I think the bottom will pop off in the slightest chance of a battery issue. I'm not too worried.
Thinking about this since I have a bunch of 14500's and a charger. Concerned that it isn't vented though. Has anyone confirmed this and/or drilled holes and if so where?

Also, does the LCD show anything other than current voltage?

I haven't drilled any hole in mine, but doing so would be pretty darn easy. I may do it at some point. It is fairly thin stainless and there is nothing to damage on the bottom. given you can't stack batteries here and if you use IMR batts you shouldn't have any issues anyway

Regarding the display - it shows a battery icon with charge bars, and displays current voltage. It also shows a "puff" counter that displays on each press of the power button andresets whenever you take out the battery.

This is a really nice device for the price. It looks nice and performs well and is very easy to adjust voltages. My only complaint is the battery life is too short for my vaping habits, but that is more a function of the battery than the device.

The only negatives really are that it is pretty long (5.5 inches) and you can't lock the voltage.

You can LOCK the voltage junkman, Just hold the 2 buttons for a few seconds at the same time to lock and unlock.
