Best VV likeness to a provari but cheap for a backup device

The iTaste MVP has a flat DC signal. Theres about .1 in voltage drop between what is said and what you get, but it's consistent.

I can't honestly say there will be anything just "like" the ProVari, but there are many mods out there that are VV and VW. The Classic style Sigelei Zmax comes the closest to looking "ProVarish" but don't know if they are out there anywhere. The Innokin SVD seems to be popular nowadays too.

Once approved you can access the Classifieds, many members buy Mods which for some reason or another find out do not fit their needs, plus you can find some really good deals.
I don't mean looks like I mean durability and reliability as the provari with vv and is cheap, I want all the things that the provari is but cheaper.
I know it wont be just like or as great but is close to it and can use the same atty's.
To get close to the durability and reliability of the Provari, you will likely have to move 'up' to one of the mechs (KICKed for pseudo-VW). 510 threads are pretty common in the mech world, so that is not an issue, but they aren't really my thing so I have no recommendations.

Don't bother looking, there's no other variable voltage mod as reliable and durable as a Provari. It's one of the things that makes the Provari stand out from the competition.
I don't know of any other V-V mod that's not made in China. None of those come close in durability or reliability over time to a US-made Provari. From what I have seen, the MVP comes the closest, but it has a non-replaceable battery, so you know from the start you have what will eventually be a disposable device. You are either going to have to settle for a lesser mod, or save up your pennies and get a Provari.
Thanks that's what I thought but was worth a try, that's why I picked the provari always the same and durable only made in the usa.

Well personally I have a bunch of back up devices, I have some cheep ego style batteries, which work good enough for me. I also have an evic but it is fragile. I use pro-tanks mostly, some people complain about them, but I like them, just don't drop them. They work on everything I have, also I have 2 tatroe tanks, that I use at work, that are stainless versions of the pro tank. The evic is a good back up for me at home, it puts out a fairly good vape, with the pro-tank. I think the best back up for a provari though, will be another provari, that's what I will do eventually. 
The ego's and the evic are all stuff from china, the only other thing from the usa I have been looking at is from super T mgf.

I have heard that the Saber Touch is a very fine mod. The only thing that makes it lower on the ladder than a ProVari is the fiddly way you change the voltage. This is based on what I heard from the guy that sold me the ProVari at a B&M and I consider him a reliable source for vaping knowledge. I do not own nor have I used this device. Also the Reo seems to be a very highly regarded mod and has quite a following. I do not have one of these or have used one but it might be my next purchase. That being said I backed up my ProVari with you guessed it another ProVari. Please let us know what you decide.

Well I plan to get another provari but have to save from the switch first so the wife don't yell at me lol.
I wish I had started the way you are I would have 3 provari's by now, but the ego's are a good choice, for a back up. A 900 mah ego twist bat would be a good choice. They have both ego, and 510 connections. I bought my ego bats, in mid april and they all still work fine, they are small and fit in your pocket, when on the go, and I think the 900, only costs about $25.00 or less. I don't like the made in china stuff, but they do work for as cheep as the are, if you screw it up, just toss it and get another one.
Yea just not as good I think it has pre set increments, that step up with a twist. here I found a link to one.

I have been using the MVP sand SVD for a while now. Both are made pretty well. I'm happy with both. I am preferring the SVD probably because it newer to me. The SVD is a pretty heavy duty compared to the Vamo. Its vv and tells your ohms, locks the voltage in, is telescopic, can use flat top batteries in all three sizes, both size threads. I think it does watts too but who cares ( you may, I don't)
The MVP will last you 2 and into the third days heavy vaping..charges in about 5 hours, maybe 4, Its a bit boxy to me, you may not care though, heck, you may like that. Hope this helps some if your looking at these for cheap back ups. 37 bucks and 47 bucks at FT last I looked.

It won't be anywhere as durable as a Provari, but if you are only looking for an inexpensive variable voltage backup mod, consider the Segelei V8. Just $30 at Discount Vapors. It's a lightweight, pocket-friendly, impact-resistant plastic case with a rubberized finish. Full V-V range, built-in voltage and atty meter. Large LED display. Uses two 18350 IMR batteries (not stacked) for all day use.

Thanks all for the input I will check out the devices suggested hope I find a good backup want to quit analogs so bad.
The only thing else I can say is, when you order your provari, get extra batteries, and get the pila charger, not the cheaper one. I bought the 2.5, with 2 of each size battery, and the regular cap, and the extension cap. That way I always have a charged battery I can use, so if you do the same, you might not need that back up right away. You will want one but might not need it.
I got charger, 2 larger batts and extension cap in the mail with my provari right now.
