Best way to Build a Smoktech RSST

I have a spool of 30 gauge wire, mesh, cotton, on a Magneto Mech with Efest 2000 battery.

Tried a few builds, 3 wraps, 4 wraps, all mesh, ekowool inside mesh, micro coil with cotton.

Still can't seem like I have a good vape like my PT micro rebuilds. Those got down good.

I upped the hole one bit size from stock, or do I need bigger?

Well, just my .02, but I build my RSST with a 400 mesh wick made from a strip of mesh 3 inches long and 1 3/8 wide, well oxidized on both sides, and rolled tight. I coil it with 28 g kanthal, 4/3 wrap, evenly spaced coil loops, at .8 ohm, powered by an AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh battery.

This works very well for me but as always YMMV.

To me, the RSST chamber is too large and hence flavor and throat hit isn't that good. I feel that no matter how I set it up, it just feels "lacking". It just doesn't suit me. Maybe it's the same for you too.

I've been messing around with mine a bit...I kinda want to get away from ss mesh so I built a 1ohm coil with .28 ga kanthal using the Petar K method, then put a small twist of cotton through the wick. Its working very well...kinda like an automatic dripper.

How large is you top cap hole?

I did cotton and micro coil, might try again horizontal with cotton in both holes.
