Best way to clean copper threads/contacts while leaving patina on outside?

I recently just bought a copper mod (clone), don't hate me for that. I usually buy authentic devices/rda's to support the designer but just wanted to see what kind of upkeep a copper device would have before diving in. I like the patina look but just wanted to make sure my threads and contacts remain in good working condition. Is there an easy way to do it?

A mild metal polish, like Simichrome or even milder, Nevr-Dull, will remove the tarnish. Just keep it off the areas where you want to keep the patina.

Noalox will also improve conductivity. It is a grease so it will keep oxygen out and it contains zinc particles which are conductive and will cut through the oxide coating. Clean them, being careful to avoid the outside and the beautiful patina, then put a tiny bit of noalox on.
