I found out, especially at night when I'm just sitting and vaping a way (I become a really heavy vaper at nights) - my throat just loses the ability to feel any throat hits. First I thought it was just level of nic - that I was using custom 3-4mg juice. So I just used a 24mg one, just in case... but still couldn't feel any throat hit.

But in the morning, when I get up and have my first vape... the throat hit is like crazy. If I'm off for a while and vape, it also gives quite a bit of throat hit. However, the more you vape, less you get your throat hit it seems. Perhaps, it's all coated with PG or nic or what not... or maybe it's just "numbed"... but I'd like to know if there's any way to cleanse your throat so that you'll get the hits when you want it, without staying off a while.

Any ideas? I tried drinking some soda and all - but didn't help much....

I wouldnt try soda like you said.
Its as abrasive(probably more sore) and the same diminishing throat feeling occurs with abrasive fluids like coke.

Try orange juice, its soothing and full of vitamin C :)

Not from experience, just a guess.
Im interested to know if it works at all

Iv also noticed that for me, the throat hit isnt really affected by the strength of the liquid.
I only have 12mg and 18mg, so I might have just not had enough experimentation with it.

Thank you all for pointers. Yes, after dinner vape is satisfying. Coffee and vaping is also pretty good too. I guess soda/pop doesn't help much - so I'll try out with different, liquids - perhaps just water for cleansing.

Although I'm pretty tolerant to caffeine, but I tend to shy away having coffee at night - even though I drink soda. ;) Maybe a cup of nice ice-cold decaf coffee might do the trick. Alas, I don't have Jose Cuevo handy... ;)

I deal with this with customers all the time. UK or Utah.

IMHO it all boils down to the simple fact that many users hit their e-cigs MORE than they do/did analogs. Think about it - when you smoke, you see the cigarette getting smaller and get the feeling that you have just "had" a smoke.

E-cigs are the Willy Wonka everlasting gobstoppers of nicotine. They don't get any smaller and carts/liquid are always an armlength away. If you had a 50 foot cigarette you would probably smoke it until you got sick or passed out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not preaching PV abstinance :nun: (or even that this is your case) only that you may want to see if you've increased your usage since switching to e-cigs.

I actually have used soda. I took a small swig of my Faygo and my throat is back to normal. Could be because its Red Pop lol.

faygo? omg havent had that in...........god 8 or 9 years! the only place that carried that stuff was in the ghetto but do to being robbed at gun point to many times they finnaly said screw it and closed up shop. plus i think they got busted for selling $4 dollar packs of cigs to people who didnt have ID for $6, its where ALL the minors went to get smokes.
